Review of Maharana Pratap Engineering College, Kanpur

Overall Rating
I am a final year student of Maharana Pratap engineering college perceiving B.Tech from computer science and engineering. Overall this is a good college for budget friendly people. If you are looking for a college only for degree and not for placement then you must select this. This college offers good facility of hostels as well as gives you a quality education.
 

Academics Rating
The college is not academically as good as its competitors. You must have to maintain a 90% of attendance criteria to appearing all examinations else you have to pay a huge amount of fine to appear in exam. The college follows 6 days working cycle and there can be two Saturday off in a month.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of this is not as good as its competitors but few faculties are very supportive in their own way. They will help you out for all your concerns. The faculty staff is very limited still they somehow manage the whole class and we get few free in time in between lectures. Overall the faculty is good.
 

Placement Rating
Our college offers the campus placements which were at their peak during 2021 and 22 period but they are at their low in 2023 and 24 period. To be honest our college provides only 15% of placement and that two or more deserving candidates.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college has hostel facilities for boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is an architecture Marvel. We will get to see some classical example of modern infrastructure and traditional buildings. There are total 10 buildings and each of the building has its own ground. Other than this our college have a professional cricket ground a basketball court and football ground.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in our college is really enjoying and interesting. You will forget your family once you visit here. There are supportive staff teachers and well behave seniors. There is no problem of ragging in our college because the first year hostel is being separated from the second one so if you are looking for a college within budget then you must considered this college.

    This college is a Private college of Kanpur. It offers up to 13 various courses. It has a huge library, well equipped labs, lecture theaters, a huge cricket ground with 3 canteens.
