If you are looking for a university providing all round development of students besides academics, after having passed your high school, the Adamas University is a favorable one for you. It is the best private university in eastern India, praised by all for its smart education, classy infrastructure and nationwide recognition. It's UGC and NAAC certified. For imparting technical courses the university is certified by AICTE. It's recognized by BCI and PCI as well. The university conducts entrance exam called AUAT, for admission. Various general, technical, management, law and business courses offered by the Adamas University.

I chose B.Sc honors in Statistics and Data Analytics as my course for Under Graduate degree. The sole reason behind my choice of this course in this university is its uniqueness. This course is offered by the Adamas University only among all the West Bengal. It's a three years course providing integrated knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics, machine languages and various operations on data. There are 20 seats for the course in the university. Students, who have 50% aggregate score, above 60% score in Mathematics and have had English as a subject in their 12th board exam, are eligible to apply for the course. Adamas University Admission is done on the basis of AUAT entrance examination rank. This three years course provides knowledge on 20 subjects in total. The final two semesters contain one internship each in reputed institutions or industries. The internships are very helpful in gaining theoretical as well as practical knowledge about corporate functioning that enhance the skills and efficiencies of the students. The classes are conducted with utmost individual care and attention. The professors keep regular track on the student's progress individually. This course offers vast placement opportunities to the students. Campus placements are done every year for the students of final semester, where the number of seats in the course being low, the competition remains smooth.

All the 250 faculties in Adamas University are PhD in their respective fields. Most of them also possess post doc. degree too. My course has 13 faculties with an average of 10 years of experience in teaching. The teaching staffs are completely student friendly and there is hardly any malpractice of favoring any particular student who is taking private tuitions from them. They are well trained in technologically advanced methods of teaching. All of them prefer to build the foundation of the student's knowledge by teaching each topic from the grassroots level so that previous merits of the students don't form any barrier. Adamas University Faculty reviews are collected by the management from each student from all the departments.

The placement cell of Adamas University takes responsibility of preparing each student for campus placements. Various programmes such as mock interviews, group discussions and mock written tests are organized by them in adequate environment. The highest salary package received in our batch was offered by Wipro and it amounted to Rs. 50,000 per month. Companies such as Thyrocare, IBM, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Byju's, Genpact, Capgrmini and many others visit the university for recruitment. The average percentage of placement in our batch was 92% and the average package was Rs. 25,000 per month.

Boys and girls have separate hostel buildings. Each building has adequate number of rooms. The rooms are of sufficient size. There are options for sharing of a room by maximum three students. Each student gets a separate wardrobe, a bed, a chair and a table. The number of washrooms and bathrooms are sufficient. Washing machine, aqua guard, geyser and free wi-fi are always available. Adamas University Hostel Fees ranges from Rs.9,500 to Rs.12,500 per month depending on the type of accommodation i.e., the room is single, shared, ac or non-ac. The quality of food provided is satisfactory. Both veg and nonveg items are kept daily. The security system is tight with one warden in each floor of the hostel. The rooms must be kept clean by the students and the common passages are cleaned regularly by the management. Each hostel building has two bouncers. Electric security and fire security are always active inside the hostel.

The Adamas University is built over a total area of 120 acres. There are separate buildings for each department. Every course has separate classroom, practical labs and workshops. Every class room has a projector and white board. The law and order department has separate trial room, with all the required facilities and ambience for the practice of the students. The environment is all green throughout the campus. There are two auditoria for seminars and ceremonies. Five big libraries have adequate number of necessary books. The campus has a well maintained gym which is accessible to the students as well as the faculties. There are eight playgrounds in total for different games. The campus has separate room for indoor games. The parking area inside the campus is large. Buses and electric pullers are available for moving inside the campus. There an ATM available for 24 hours. A branch of the Bank of India is there for the convenience of the students. As a whole, the Adamas University is famous for its boisterous infrastructure.

The Adamas University has a disciplined and interesting campus life. The students get an opportunity to learn freely and develop themselves. They are able to express and enhance their abilities. Every year various cultural festivals and ceremonies are organised. Annual sports meet is conducted every year and the talented students are given opportunities to compete in higher levels. The university possess several clubs such as the drama club, writer's club, dancer's club, music club, gymnastics club, science club and so on, to enrich the student's co-curricular activities. As a whole, the Adamas University is recommended for the students seeking a private university providing all round development of themselves.
