I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place. Also it's surrounded by corporate offices which get you in contact with many of your upcoming bosses.

The Academic of JIIT is very good indeed. But the college schedule is very hectic and sometimes it overburdens me. There are hundreds of assignments to do, almost in every 2 months there are examination conducted regularly. But the curriculum is revised in almost 1or 2 year which is a very good thing for an engineering college to get up to date with the modern technologies. And the module in every semester are very technically chosen and designed. For example the best part about academics is our college is very sincerely takes the reviews from the companies who visited JIIT previously and asked for what students of JIIT, who are placed, are lacking in their current scenario, and they then after work real hard upon this and introduce many amendments in the courses.

The Faculty review of JIIT can vary widely as some teachers here is really appreciable and is excellent but on the other hand some are bad. They are not willing to teach with that spirit of teaching something new. But if I would say overall then the faculty is really good, supportive, and helping not only in academics but some of the teachers would even help you in your personal and professional life too. They took your problem as their own and try to give you the best possible solution of it.

Yes, we have Placement Cell known as T&P Cell (Training and Placement Cell), as I am in 2nd semester I come in contact with them only few a times. But I can definitely say the T&P Cell work very-very hard to get you placed as they also told the 1st year students to research on given company for our seniors so they can get the best of this college. But you should not see the stats of Google and get impressed the reality is you get placed upon what you learned in your 4 years of college. You will need to work very hard to compete with your college mates to get good Placement.

Hostel is expensive and did not meet the expectations. You are not allowed to get your electric kettle, high power appliances like heater for winters, and the most annoying thing in summers are that AC duct only run for a very specific time like from 9:00 PM in evening to 5:00 AM in the morning and rest of the day you will burnt in the summers of Noida. But you do get hot water in winters for the bathing purposes but again for specific time i.e., 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM in morning. One important point the mess of JIIT, it provides hygienic and clean food but not very tasty for some of the times.

Infrastructure wise Jaypee is very good but the college is not so big. Only best thing is its prime location. The hostels are separate for First year and other years. But they are not so wisely made. The facilities are ok-ok. But the lab equipments of computer lab, engineering lab, electric lab, etc. are good and perform well. College has a descent library too. There is gym area and table tennis in every hostel.

Campus Life depends totally up to you. If you can make good friends and a group of full of great nature and companionship, you are definitely going to enjoy the next 4 years but you can get them ruined, if you get in bad influence of some people around you. There are various clubs you can join for fun and self improvement also.
