Overall Rating
I always dreamt of studying in RG Kar Medical College since I gave my 10th examinations. After qualifying NEET, I opted for this college through counselling. My overall experience in this college is fantastic. If you are aspiring for becoming a doctor from a prestigious college then you should definitely opt for RG Kar.
 

Academics Rating
I am studying MBBS in the college which is bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. You should qualify your 12th boards and NEET with a minimum rank of 40 thousand. Then you can apply for this college on the basis of cut-off in counselling process. There are several other courses like BMLT and nursing.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very good, friendly, and helpful. Most of them have a degree of bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery and many of them have much higher degrees. You can always reach out to your head of department and other teachers for any help related to studies. There style of teaching is fantastic.
 

Placement Rating
As RG Kar Medical College has nothing to do with placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There is hostel facility available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure facility is good as compared to other government medical colleges. There are several buildings for the students. The library is huge with a variety of books. You can study up to 8 PM in the library. There is air conditioning facility for most of the classrooms with smart boards.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is fantastic. There are many fests like LOBELIA (annual cultural fest), sports meet, freshers, and many more. There are several clubs like photography clubs, football clubs, cricket clubs, writing clubs, etc. This year there were more than fifty inter-college sports competition are held (both indoor and outdoor).

    The Institute is highly esteemed in our country. It's one the best medical college in our city with daily patient turnover of around 10000. Being a student in our college one can get a hands-on experiences on varied clinical cases to learn from. The Institute has a very prime location which is well connected by all means of transport.
