Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - My Review

Overall Rating
Ravenshaw University is one of the oldest and most reputed institutions of Odisha as well as of India. I was selected in Delhi University (North Campus, KMC) through CUET entrance exam. I left DU and joined Ravenshaw University because of its excellent academics performance and calm environment. I am pursuing now BA Geography Hons. in this prestigious university. Now it's accredited with A++ rank By NAAC. This University is also named as Red Empire by the students.
 

Academics Rating
This University provides a number of courses (BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Phil, Ph.D, Integrated B.Ed, etc.). I am now pursuing Geography Hons. because it helps the students for clearing civil services examination. The admission process is very transparent. Admission procedure is conducted on merit basis. If a student wants to pursue any course from this recognized University then he/she must be secured 85 to 95%.
 

Faculty Rating
Ravenshaw University is well known for its efficient and well educated faculty. The recruitment of Assistant professor in the various departments (Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, Education, Statistics, Mathematics, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) is more as compared to the other universities. In my Geography Department 15 Assistant professor, Associate professor, and Professor are there. They deliver their lectures in a simple way so that students perceive clearly.
 

Placement Rating
Best placements are available in this reputed institution. After completion your courses you are 100% confirm to be engaged in any placement. The placement package is also excellent. Above 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, I am residing in New Hostel of Ravenshaw University. It is the heavenly place ever. The admission fees of Hostel are much less that are 15000 per annum including mess fees. There are 15 hostels (both for boys and girls).
 

Infrastructure Rating
Ravenshaw University is also known as The Red Empire because of its Red infrastructure. There are various academic blocks irrespective of its departments. Each department is well structured. The classes happen on time and the govt. provides a lot of fund to organise various effective initiatives which helps to students to fulfil their dreams.
 

Campus Rating
This marvellous University is also well known for its efficient tranquillity. There is no such uniform for the students. It maintains the calm and peace. Ravenshaw University organises various sports activities. Not only sports but also it organises the cultural and academic activities. The students can participate eagerly and win cash prizes (25k to 50k) and certificates.

    Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian.
