Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi - Review

Overall Rating
The faculty of our college is professional and knowledgeable and teachers even took full effort to teach class 11,12th concepts as well in our first year. They don’t ever refuse to help anyone. The peers are friendly as well. Overall the location of college is near Pacific mall which makes a good hangout spot after college. 9/10 recommends if you got this.
 

Academics Rating
If you want to opt for masters after the undergrad degree it’s good to do your undergrad from IPU colleges as you will get the leverage of working freely as well as the practical assignments and projects give hands on feel of the work and teach work life balance. Eligibility is JEE rank. Entry is through JEE mains ranking order. Overall faculty good and strict in teaching.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are old and experienced but don’t carry lot of ego. And are really very approachable to the students. I felt it was just an extension of my school as I got the good feeling of good teachers. They will make sure you complete your syllabus and understand the crux of the topics. Good faculty 10/11.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there’s a Placement Cell and I guess the average package of CSE is 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a ground, a basketball court, as well as a big lawn. We play football and basketball almost every day. Buildings and classrooms have AC. Even there is a gym with the basic machines in the basement, and more machines are being added there. Overall old school infra is good enough to study without interruption.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is great. I suggest creating friends and socializing is very important. In the first year socialize with everyone. Make as many friends as you can. Also outside college just 100 meters we have mall with bowling and cafes to hangout. The market is also nearby.

    GTBIT is a college affiliated to GGSIPU approved by AICTE and HRD. It is located in Rajouri Garden. The nearest metro station is Subhash Nagar. It is a very decent college but not in terms of sports. For education purpose, it is good. There are numerous societies which students can join to enhance their skills.     Overall, the infrastructure is good; the campus is not too big but it delivers the basic needs of a college. It lacks in sports a bit. Overall, the faculty is okay, but not too good. The placements are also average. Canteen is medium sized but the food is good. There is also a mother dairy booth in addition to the canteen. People are too friendly.     Overall, our college is a tier 3 college. It’s a semi government type of college. So, if you are not getting admission in other better colleges, it's fine to take admission here. Also, the fee is less, you can consider that also. One more point is that there is reservation for Sikh students so Sikh students can get admission even at a lower rank.... Read Full Review

    The guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is a Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University affiliated and is a Sikh community college. There's a reservation for the Sikh community in this college. My overall experience through college can be described as 3/5. My 1.5 years of college went online however.
