A Short Note on Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida

Overall Rating
I chose Jaypee Institute of Information Technology because it’s one of the best private engineering colleges in India. If you have a decent class 12 score or a decent JEE mains percentile, you should come here for a good quality education and career boost. The placements are one of the best in private college category.
 

Academics Rating
The College Academics are good. The curriculum is in enough detail. The curriculum is updated timely. The curriculum is of industry level. I have taken lateral entry in B.Tech CSE. An entrance is held for lateral entry. The syllabus for the exam is First Year B.Tech curriculum. I would recommend this college if you are looking for some good curriculum.
 

Faculty Rating
The college faculty is well qualified. Most of them are Ph.D from reputed colleges and a good teaching experience. The teaching style of the teachers is flexible. They adopt the method by which student understands easily. The faculty members are supportive. They motivate students to focus on practicality of subjects.
 

Placement Rating
The College Placement Cell is very active. A number of well reputed firms and startups visit the campus for placements. The highest package last year was 1.1 cr and the average package was 11 lakhs per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facility in our college. The hostel is on-campus. The rooms are dual occupancy and well furnished. The hostel fee is 1 lakh/semester.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a well developed modern infrastructure. We have three main buildings, the tallest being 19 floor. We have a well maintained Library with ample of books. The sports facilities include - basket ball court, badminton court, squash room, indoor games like snooker, and 8 ball pool. We also have 2 swimming pools which are well maintained. We have a big auditorium fully AC. Also the complete campus is air conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life is very engaging. Cultural and technological fests are held very frequently. We have many clubs like, nrityang, cresendo, etc. The college crowd is very nice. Students are helpful to each other. We have a well built auditorium. Dance programs and music programs are held there regularly.

    From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.     Overall Rating
    Been in this college for about 5 months and can say that the academic curriculum is just perfect. Not too much load for studies not that less either as compared to other colleges you will get rather difficult test papers but teachers teach at same level too so won’t be that big of an issue. One thing I must tell is that you won’t be able to do extracurricular activities much because of campus area restrains. The area is very small but well utilised.... Read Full Review
