Story of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal

Overall Rating
At first college will seem good to you. If you are willing to come here that means you have not scored well in JEE just like me. My advice is if you are having more than 90 percentile then don't come to this college opt some other good GFTI. College is good only if you are in the main branch. Attendance wise they are very strict 75% is bare minimum.
 

Academics Rating
If you are getting LNCT main CSE then go for it students here respect main CSE branch. Eligibility criteria for outside MP students are more than 85 to 87 percentile. For home state students it is less and for SC/ST students it is minimal. CSE branch provides good placement but yes you have to do your part of job that is consistency and hard work then after you will be placed and it is fact that not all the students will be placed.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are quite good. All of them hold degree in their respective fields. The way of their teaching is good. Some of them are too strict and some of them are jolly and good mooded person and will feel like friend to you. For first year you'll be studying 5 subjects and the faculty provided for these subjects will be good.
 

Placement Rating
Placement here is quite decent. Companies like Cognizant, Amazon, Capegimini, VB labs, etc. visits campus for internships and placements. You can crack any of this company if you are having good CPGA, CV, skill, etc. in your respective subject.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 boys’ hostel and 2 girl’s hostel here. For boys you will be provided with hostel facility for only 1st year after that you have to leave the hostel I don't know what a worst policy it is. For girls you can stay for all the 4 years if you want to but my advice is leave the hostel after 1st year it'll be good for you. Hostel food is good but of newly made boys hostel it is worst. Don't opt for newly made boys hostel go for hostel named 'Ratanpur'.
 

Infrastructure Rating
If we talk about infrastructure there is one main building there is one building for LNCT&S one for LNCTE and one is under progress and that is for LNCTU. LNCT main building is oldest among them all and lags in some facilities but the newly made buildings are good and quite impressive. Campus covers the area of around 50 acres and is lush green surrounded by trees and plants around it. There is one big auditorium that is under construction.
 

Campus Rating
If we talk about campus life then it is worst and I mean it. It feels like school here. I mean you have to wear uniform, you have to go to class daily, there will be 7 periods daily, and one lunch period between it, isn't it the things we used to do in school. If you think that you'll enjoy fests here then you are 100% wrong, there are no such things like fest here. In the name of fest what they will do is they will occupy some small place in ground and declare it as fest. And in the name of activity they have nothing.
