Life in Bidhannagar College, Kolkata

Overall Rating
College is quite good but there are many advantages as well as disadvantages. Advantage such as teachers are good and well educated, good in behavior, and teach you well. There is no ragging at all as I already pass 2 years. There is no discrimination of gender, colour, etc. Disadvantage such as cleanliness is not maintained. Bathrooms are uncleaned, bad odour come,
 

Academics Rating
This course provides you a bright future. Eligibility 12th passed from recognised board. Provide many facilities in this course. Good teaching and good behaviour of teacher. They guide you best in upcoming days. In this course you can be historians, archeologists, and many more. You can apply at their official website.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty member of the college is very good. They are very polite and good in teaching as well as in behavior. They take care of you as their child. Feed food sometimes. There teaching technique is easy and unique. They provide notes and important question. They stand by you every time you need them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus interior is good. Building is nice. There are two buildings: old building is less maintained then new building lift is not open till covid 19. Overall interior, classroom, everything is good. There are total 5 floors in new building, all floors are well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good but there is no cultural event since covid 19. Before covid 19 there was at least one fest in year but now there is no fest in whole year. We arrange our departmental freshers otherwise there is no fresher’s fest at all. Crowd of the college is not so huge.

    Bidhannagar College is a well-known educational institute in West Bengal. Students from nearby districts and other states are studying in the College. I have chosen the College for its education in Anthropology. Its Anthropology department is one of the well-known UG departments of India.
