Overall Rating
I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because my rank didn't allow me to do CSE (I wasn't interested in ECE) and the lecturer to student ratio is 64:1. If one is only interested in placements, then only one should join this IIIT. College life is negligible. One should enrol in NITs if they want to enjoy college life.
 

Academics Rating
I took JEE MAINS to get admission here in IIIT RANCHI. JEE Mains is held in 2 sessions, mostly January and April. I chose ECE because of my rank. One has to get 95-97% to get admission eligible for admission here. Motive for enrolling this program is to get placement. ECE branch for first is all about semiconductors.
 

Faculty Rating
We have teachers from multiple IITs and reputed universities, ensuring quality education to our students. We have well educated teachers, having Ph.D degree. All faculties in our college are very helpful and are available for all time to help students as much as possible. The exam is held on time and the difficulty level is medium to difficult.
 

Placement Rating
From the 6th semester onwards, you will have the opportunity to take a job. Companies such as Deloitte, JIO, and NVIDIA have visited. The placement of the 2022-2023 class was very good. The average package was 17.01 LPA for CSE students and 16.42 LPA for ECE students. The cost of the most expensive package was 83.38 LPA. Approximately 89% of eligible students are placed here.
 

Hostel Rating
The quality of the rooms is up to standard and the rooms come with private or separate bathrooms. The quality of food at mess is very poor and needs major improvement. The dormitory registration process is easy. Once you complete the admission process and enroll, you will be assigned a dormitory.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has well-structured hostels to offer to its students. There are two buildings on the Namkum campus. H. T3 and T4. I live in T3 building and A is there. C is also present in the room. It has six floors, each with four apartments, each with three rooms and one hallway. One has to go through counselling to enrol in these hostels.
 

Campus Rating
Ephemere is the last major festival held in 2023. University life is largely ignored, with little to no festivals or events. There is a library that is open until school hours around 6 PM. Not all books are available here. Classrooms have basic needs. The situation for students is further exacerbated by the lack of sports equipment and the lack of suitable playgrounds and groups for students. There are many clubs and groups run by seniors, such as the following. Examples: programming club, cultural club, etc.

    The reason to choose the college was very simple and that was the placements of the college. Our college has average placement of ₹16.83 lakh.     The college provides a conducive environment for study and experienced teachers. The institute offers a rigorous curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the IT industry. The campus is equipped with normal facilities, including laboratories, a library, and other resources that enhance the learning experience. The mess food is average in the college....     Overall Rating
    Overall, a good college with decent college life and placement and outside market is available for necessary things. Classes have centralized AC but only fan is functioning, one ground is available for playing, mess food is satisfactory, and hostel is very good compared to IIT and NIT. Teachers are very helpful....
