DAV College, Chandigarh - Review

Overall Rating
DAV College Chandigarh is a place where you can find your true self. The college provides a great opportunity to grow and learn and can easily find people who have similar interests. The crowd is very good and it’s easy to make new friends. The college also conducts lots of fest so you'll enjoy the college life.
 

Academics Rating
The study environment of the college depends upon you. If you're willing to put efforts towards yours studies than the staff will provide you maximum guidance. The examination are held semester wise and you'll have a mid semester exam conducted by the college. The final exam is conducted by Panjab University as DAV College is affiliated with it.
 

Faculty Rating
The staff of the college is moderate. There are some teachers who are very professional with their work but there will be some subject teacher who would not put in much effort. The teacher and other faculty members are respectful as long as you are doing the same. Ultimately it depends upon you to put an effort for your studies. You're the one who have to put the effort to get result.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is Placement Cell in the college but not many companies visit the college therefore it’s not very functional.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is above average. The classroom is spacious enough for lectures and desk and chairs are of good quality too. Although there are some classes which need some restoration but most of them are fine. The college also has multiple canteens, libraries, auditoriums, and sports grounds which provide great benefit to everyone.
 

Campus Rating
The college provides a lively experience. There are many societies in which you can enrol at the beginning of the semesters. They provide great experience for your future career as well as conduct various types of events and games in the college. There is multiples fest conducted by the college itself which provide once in life time experience.

    I am a B.Com student of DAV College Chandigarh and I am in my final year and this is the second best college of Chandigarh which also comes under Panjab University. This college helps us to improve our social skills and other soft skills. The bar of education is held high by the college via proper timetable and great teaching faculty. Other facilities that are offered by the college include two canteens and 3 gardens for the students. Plus it also has a safe environment for both boys and girls.... Read Full Review

    D.A.V College is considered as the second best college in Chandigarh, which is affiliated with Panjab University. It has its own vibe; students coming from all over Haryana, Himachal and children of defense personnel make this place very unique. But, this college is best for those who are more into fun than studies as it is a place where fun and social life precedence over academics.
