Life at Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology, Mumbai

Overall Rating
The overall college experience is good. The facilities provided in the college are also good. All PCs are in working condition and everything is perfect you can join this college by CET. The college has 51% Sindhi minority, not all facilities are good but some are actually excellent teachers. I can say this thing that overall college rating will be 4.2/5.
 

Academics Rating
The course is of 4 years in 2023 the college has got autonomous status. This leads the advantage for a student. All they have to do is just is make a good with a teacher they can just give full internal marks this leads to good CGPA which helps in placements. You can get seat in college on MHCET basis. Minimum score for Computer or IT branch is 96 percentile. Otherwise minority quota is also there for people who belong to sindhi minority (linguistic minority).
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are not that good, but some teachers are really excellent especially in computer branch some teachers are so good that we don’t need to study after attending their lectures. But there are teachers we can’t understand what they are teaching but they are so friendly that if we asked them to explain the topic they gave us a specific time separately which really helps the student.
 

Placement Rating
I specially don't know about placements much but our seniors are really happy with the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is too good it gives us many facilities such as good food, no need to worry about washing clothes and also there is 24*7 water and electricity. Cleanliness is maintained. Boy’s hostel is available for only 2 years which is not good but overall hostel is too good and there is free Wi-Fi in complete hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
VESIT has a good infrastructure. It has 7 floors and a good auditorium where events are held. For bigger events there is space on second floor called amphitheatre, it has good class rooms and many of them have ACs in working condition. There are many labs on every floor for students to use. It also has good library for studying and also we get free Wi-Fi and Ethernet cable to use internet which really helps students and there are common computers for students to use and complete their tasks.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus experience is good. There are many events conducted by college and seniors. There are different types of council that conduct events. There are 2 main events of the college one is illusion and prarambh which is for 1st year students only but the events the conducts are not really bad we can have fun with our friends and it also leads to make a good friend circle which helps to complete the college life.

The campus is good with major students being Sindhi due to minority status to the college. One can pursue B.E degree in various technological engineering branches through this college.     My first interaction with the college was when I went to the Facilitation Centre for my document verification. The first thing I noticed was there were proper facilities for students and the staff was calm and helping with all the issues and was understanding the problems of out-of-state/city students.     Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology is abbreviated as VESIT. By the virtue of my percentile in 12th, I got a seat in this reputed college. The college management cooperated well during the admission process and document verification. VESIT has received several affiliations and accreditations.   • One of the strict yet the best college of Engineering
     

    Overall Rating
    I secured a place in this reputed college of engineering post my diploma. VESIT is one of the best engineering colleges in Mumbai and I was quite fortunate to get a seat here. But one needs to get at least 85+ percentile to get into VESIT. My college was accredited by grade A almost every year. The admission process was online and quite understandable. The management was same as of any Engineering college, not so good. We always had a problem with the office staff.... Read Full Review
