My experience at CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore

Overall Rating
Well, it's been a few months since I came here to CMR Institute. Even though it hasn't reached the expectation it is good so far. The faculty, infrastructure, and inter-college activities are all very exciting. Technical and non-technical clubs can make college life more interesting.
 

Academics Rating
I am in AI & ML branch. As what we are studying now are the common basic science subjects they are easy. 1st semester will be easy for people who know programming languages. I got selected through KCET and didn't know much about the courses. But after talking to my seniors I got to know that AI & ML is a good choice.
 

Faculty Rating
To be honest I don't find these faculties' way of teaching exciting enough to make students study. No doubt that they put their effort into teaching children but still fail. There may be students' mistakes in this matter too. Faculty of major subjects conveys what they want to know, and make everybody understand them.
 

Placement Rating
The college is very supportive in terms of campus placements. They put a very high effort into making the students capable and the technical and communication skills through soft skills classes and innovative design thinking classes so that when they set interview rounds the companies can pick many students for high salary packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a campus hostel. Infrastructure of the hostel is impressive. The hostel is well maintained. The warden put much effort into hygiene and cleanliness. Personally, apart from the morning breakfast, the food is good. The restrooms and living rooms are daily cleaned.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is properly maintained and it is always clean. The management keeps everything neat and up to date. The library of CMR Institute is very well maintained and easily accessible by all the students and teachers. Labs in CMR are well developed and motivate students to come to the lab, unlike teachers.
 

Campus Rating
I don't know about others but for me, it's pretty boring till now. As the white field is the most happening place in Karnataka, traffic is heavy, and takes too much time to travel here and there. Hostel curfew time is 7:30 and we get very little time to enjoy the life we want. Technical and non-technical clubs are interesting to spend time on.

    College life at CMRIT is good. I choose CMRIT because of its placement, the programs it held. The faculty is also good. Seniors are friendly. They help us a lot. We have special labs. We have many computer labs to help students in developing coding skills and all. Our college has special certified courses class where we get certificates on completion of that particular course.... But when I enquired some people about this college they were like "It's good. You can join without any fear. And some of them also said “It’s better than CMRU".
