My thoughts on MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore

Overall Rating
I am a 2nd year electronics and communication student. I choose this college intentionally, because I knew about the department by my seniors and friends. I got the reference of this college by my cousin and he was the student of this college and well placed from this campus so I believed in this college and I opted the name MVJCE in my CET option entry.
 

Academics Rating
The entire academic strategy is good and comfortable for both the students and the lectures also. Flexible academics. Well designed time table and the class timings are good. I am happy with the course I have chosen. To get into this college u just need a good ranking but it depends on the branch and their cutoff also, but if you have good ranking it won't be a big issue.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are so good. Everyone used to complete the syllabus before the exams. Every lecture here is so humble and caring. They care for our career. Every lecture here includes 1 hour classes and the faculty use the precious time with the complete information about the topics. Topic wise lecturing with the notes including key points is enough for the preparations and this is what our lectures providing us.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Placement Cell is there in our college. But for this year placement rate is little bit low, as of now few companies had came and some of my seniors are placed in good companies too.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college is having good hostel facility for both girls and boys. Comfortable and hygienic rooms.100% safety. Good infrastructure. Hygienic and taste food and snacks as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is literally peace and I am happy to be inside this. No separate blocks but separate floors are there for respective branches as well. Buildings are good. Auditorium in the college is really good for every function. Trees inside the campus keep the surrounding calm.
 

Campus Rating
It's a good institute, not so crowd. Our college has so many clubs; the students can make use of those as per their interests. Clubs includes dance, literature, software development, robotics, dwani, etc. Those clubs will develop the curriculum in the students. Our college is little bit low in celebrating fests but not very low we can have at least 2 cultural fests and a tech fest too.

    This college has been one of the top colleges in Bangalore and it's mainly top ranked in Aeronautical Engineering. The faculties are best and most of them are Ph.D. Holders. The college’s functions are good and access and functioning to all parts of the college is transparent. The college’s reputation has also been excellent.     MVJ College of engineering is nice in terms of education. Teaching staff is nice and academic is also nice. There is no cultural fest. If you want to enjoy then this college is not nice. If you want to engage in studies for rest four years then this is better college. College campus is nice and well maintained.... Read Full Review

    What I personally feel is that our college has very good campus with very calm environment. Teachers are also very cooperative with the non kannadians apart from that our college has very strict environment with respective dressing code. At the same time our college has so many clubs which help students to work on their talents and showcase them too.... Read Full Review

    Over all experience of this college according to be is good. AS department is good but the teachers are very stingy about marks. According to the last year reviews ECE department is really good in this college and the atmosphere in this not is not so vibing as I expected it to be but seniors are good. I fell everyone are good other than my class fellows. The main problem in this college is they do have like really minimum fest almost it's like no fest.     MVJ college of engineering is not a top notch kind of college but a decent one. I am currently studying computer science in the college and pretty far the experience is decent. I expected many events and stuff from the college but that thing in our college is horrible and the college is not at all bothered with our entertainment.
