The beauty of Cuttack, Ravenshaw University. It is a famous and renowned university in Odisha as well as in India. It is one of the best universities with A++ by NAAC inspection team. I personally like this institution because it is very beautiful from inside with green trees and red buildings. Its overall infrastructure is very good. It provides degree and education to students for most of the subjects. It has well behaved, and highly experienced faculties for each and every subjects. It is well known for its sports facilities and opportunities for the athletes. I have chosen this University because it is within Odisha and have name and fame. I want to get admission in this institute for the opportunities it provides almost in every field and quality it provides to students both in education and sports with low cost. As it is a government institute its fees are very low as compared to other institutions. This institution is blessing for the students belonging to poor family background.

Ravenshaw University provides more than 96 different types of courses. Almost all the courses related to Arts, Science, and Commerce. It also provides courses for students interested in Computer applications and IT, Engineering and Architecture, Management and business administration and Media, and mass communication and journalism. If you want to get admission in this institute you have to score good numbers in your higher secondary school. I am pursuing my BA in psychology. I am interested in this subject and want to have more knowledge in this field. With 73%, I got admission. You have to apply online and wait for the selection list. If you got selected you will informed and asked to visit the institute for further formalities related to admission.

Ravenshaw University has more than 400 faculties with admirable knowledge and work experience. Most of the faculties are Ph.D holders and qualified from renowned institutions. Department of psychology have well mannered, well behaved, skilled, and knowledgeable faculties. Most of the faculties use modern methods of teaching. Use simple language so that each and every student can understand each and every topic.

Ravenshaw University helps students in getting placements. It provides a niche for preparation, presentations, and Interviews with different MNCs. These companies mainly focus on the students from ITM, Commerce, BBA, Finance, etc. It doesn't have Placement Cell.

Ravenshaw University has residential facilities. There are more than 10 different hostels for both boys and girls. Yes, it has residential facilities in the institution. All kind of basic facilities are there. Infrastructure is good. Food is also very good in comparison to the price per meal. There is no ragging. Students get other facilities like Library, Internet and for personal use a study table, an almirah, one chair and one bed. Students get opportunity to participate in different Inter Hostel sports and cultural events.

Ravenshaw University have separate department for each and every subject and discipline. Departments have ACs in most of the class rooms and have high infrastructure i.e. digital classrooms and must have basic facilities like portable water, toilets, common rooms, and practical labs. Every department has their personal library for both students and teachers. It also provides Internet facilities. Departments often conduct activities like awareness programs and cultural events which helps students in personal development and growth.

Ravenshaw University provides full freedom to students as freedom is the niche of growth. Students from different corners of the country come to this institution to pursue their higher education. It is obvious that you will find crowd sometimes. Campus life is very simple but interesting because you will meet new friends with different mindset. Departments and hostels often conduct activities related to general awareness and development. Sports and cultural competition is often conducted by both departments and hostels and even university. University helps in most of the programmes to make it beautiful and enjoyable for students.
