Life at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune

Overall Rating
The whole experience through college was really amazing from admission process till today. College had helped me in many ways as well. Everyone here is been amazing and really nice it's really good with its semester and many more. There are many groups and clubs that are really amazing to join and learn more.
 

Academics Rating
In mechanical engineering it's not about theory but its more about practical knowledge and applying what you have learnt in your day to day life. Course eligibility you must need to give competitive exam such as MHT-CET and JEE Mains. You must score at least above 75 percentile. The main motive to enrol in this program is to get more and more practical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty that is teaching us is really excellent and very nice to everyone. The teacher that are teaching us are from IIT and also have patents and research paper published. They teach us through power point presentation and also through visit through different companies and learn about it. They are really kind hearted and ready to help.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell in our college which allows you to apply for job placement and internship. Companies such as Mahindra And Mahindra, Atlas Copsco, Philips, Kirloskar, and many more. The placement cell really helps to gets jobs where the package is up to 1200000 a year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute which is just a 15 min walking distance from our college. It also includes 3 students in one room and drinking water, free Wi-Fi, washing machine, gas heater, and many more.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college consists of 5 main buildings each one building having its own department. Whole building is just for mechanical engineering while the building consists of 1 library, 2 reading room, and 5 computer labs each floor containing 1 or 2 labs. There is lift and also reading for you to study in college and many more.
 

Campus Rating
There are many groups and clubs that are really amazing to join and learn more such as Mesa, Baha, and Supra where various activities are being carried out. There clubs are run by students and handled by students as well some of these activities include making of car guest lecturer in seminar or planning visit to any company or organize a event.

  • World class educational & placement opportunities at VIIT, Pune
     

    Overall Rating
    I got to know from my friend that VIIT is one of the topmost colleges in Maharashtra. As I was clearing the cutoff for B.Tech branch that I wanted, I immediately applied for admission through CAP rounds. College has a really good infrastructure.     Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology was allotted to me in the CAP rounds after the competitive examination. The overall review of the institute is good enough.
