Campus Life-LIMAT

Overall Rating
LIMAT is a good place for education. It offers a comprehensive environment in management and technology fields. When choosing, I looked into the teaching quality, facilities, and job placements. That was better to connect with current alumni and visit the campus to get a feel of it. This college is highly recommended to join as it is a good choice for Engineering.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued B.Tech in CSE. Entry for this course is through AP EAMCET entrance exam. All students are eligible to write this exam and categorized with ranks and caste. Students who got rank below 70k are eligible for CSE in LIMAT under general category. The motive for enrolling this course is career aspirations, personal interests or skill development.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are highly trained, and they have a unique style of teaching. They can't manage up to advanced concepts but can cover basic syllabus. They are not that much proficient in advanced DSA and advanced SQL etc. The faculty holds Ph.D degree in Mathematics and Machine Learning also. They use PPT's for better understanding of classes.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are not that awesome but good enough. Not all people are placed, among all 40-50% of the students are placed. Average package may be 3.5, highest package is 8 LPA, and lowest will be 2.5 LPA. There are no placement training programs or others for placements. Every student must learn on own and attend interviews. No placement guarantees for the students who are very poor in studies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are with very low number of people. Most of the people are day scholars. Hostels are not good as expected. Very small rooms with no attached washrooms. Hostels are very messy and not cleaned regularly. Hostel fee is around 50K per annum. Food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. It is recommended not to join in the hostel, but you can try other outside hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good in the college. Single block consisting of 4 floor building. Each block is maintained neatly with special computer labs, computing labs and library. Every branch has its corresponding labs and other facilities in the same block itself. Highly infrastructure classrooms with projectors and digital screens etc. are available.
 

Campus Rating
Every year fresher's day is celebrated grandly. Campus provides many opportunities, grabbing the maximum ones is the responsibility of student. There are some number of clubs in our college including technical clubs, idea labs etc. Many technical events like hackathons, datathons are conducted and are reviewed by the college faculty.

    LIMAT holds a positive overall response. Our college has strong academic programs and vibrant campus life. However, the ones who are willing to join this college must consider fee and students should explore financial aid options. Fee is around 35k per year if the person is joined through AP EAMCET.     LIMAT is a very good place for value added education. The college provides placements about 40% of the people with an average package. In times of recession, LIMAT gives placements and 40% of all IT branches were placed. The environment for studying is good with a good library, high computing labs and comfortable classrooms....
