This college also tops the target and priority list of the students to get their degrees not for one but varied reason. Quality of education is undoubtedly the best but the extracurricular activities of the college are also another factor of attraction. Unlike other good colleges this one is not gender specific which makes the ambience a lot more interactive. This college is accredited by AICTE and is affiliated under the prestigious Calcutta University. Mention worthy is the ranking of the college that is number one in Kolkata and among top 30 colleges all over India. This college has an untainted reputation of excellent performance over the years which again work in favor of the college. Although this is the best college for commerce in Kolkata still there is no entrance examination for admission. Online availability of admission form and declaration of the merit list online makes the whole admission procedure simple and hassle free. In case of any queries or problem there is always an approachable management to give solutions. Apart from all the academic facilities the college is also very active socially. The best part being its very affordable fee structure so it can be attended by any class of people without financial burden.

This college offers B.Com, M.Com and MBA courses. I joined this college for the sole purpose of an overall personality development. This college definitely gave the best education for B.Com course and all the expectations from the college was more than satisfied. For students aiming to be an accountant this course and the college is the best shot.

The faculty of the college is what makes the educational quality of the college to be the best each and every year. There are ten full time lecturers and many guest lecturers in this particular course. There are about 70-80 lecturers full time and part time combined in the college. Mostly all the teachers hold a post graduate degree specializing in their respective subjects but there are professors who hold a PhD also. The guest lecturers are the highly esteemed professors of their fields and mainly teach as a full time teacher in the Calcutta University. The faculty of this college has expertise with experience in their respective subjects. The way of teaching also makes it easy for the students to acquire the knowledge without doubts.

There is a Placement Cell which takes care of offering and guiding students throughout the procedure. Top companies visit the college for placement with an average package of Rs. 3 - 3.5 lacs per annum which is a good amount for Accountants working as fresher in Kolkata.

There is no hostel facilities in the college but there are many PGs around the college.

This college has developed its infrastructure to cope up with the modern times. 7932 Square feet is the total area of the college which has a main building. The college has 26 classrooms, 3 Auditoriums, one library and 2 computer laboratories. Apart from these the college also has 2 common rooms for girls and one for boys. The college has also given emphasis on keeping the management of the college running smoothly so there are different rooms allotted to different cells. Most important feature is that the college has been furnished with technology, be it projectors or latest computers. There is a cafeteria in the premises but the location of the college also makes food easily available for the students. The college has provided separate room for Grievance Redressal Unit, Women cell, placement cell and medical emergencies. The library of the college is fully computerized having a very good collection of not only course books but also business magazines and journals. This college also has a Gymnasium which is a rare facility in colleges in Kolkata.

This college is very socially active in all types of extracurricular. The college takes part in many inter college activities such as dancing , singing, debates and has also represented the state of West Bengal a couple of times. This college has a certified social program NSS where students and faculties dedicate a few hours towards rendering social responsibilities. College holds an annual fest in which popular celebrities are invited to perform. This college also encourages sports and so has facilities available for outdoor as well as indoor sports.
