Best College Life at Asutosh College

Overall Rating
My overall experience in Asutosh College is good. It is one of the best colleges in South Kolkata. Cutoff goes high for admission in Asutosh College, and only a few percent of students get chance in this college especially for science stream. I feel lucky to study in Asutosh College. It will be my advice to my juniors that you will not regret choosing Asutosh College for your graduation.
 

Academics Rating
The basic requirement for B.Sc Chemistry Honors is having Maths as a compulsory subject in plus 2. Besides for admission, min 90% is the cut off, though the eligibility for the program is 75%. Teachers are well qualified for the program and are very understanding and helpful. Laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments.
 

Faculty Rating
We have faculties who are very educated knowledgeable and well experienced. They are very helpful in nature and understanding and well communicable. They give their full efforts for your betterment. Exams are conducted regularly to understand course materials and gain knowledge. 30% is the passing marks in exam, so if one reads throughout the year hopefully no problem will appear.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Asutosh College has smart classroom, well equipped labs, auditorium and library. Among other amenities medical room, indoor games, gymnasium also educational stationary shops and have a Xerox center. Colleges provide best education, experience discipline and training also with certificate courses and also have ragging free campus.
 

Campus Rating
Asutosh College is famous for "rock e bose adda"; it is famous for its location, metro connection, rail connectivity. The annual fest of Asutosh College is nothing less than a festival rather it should be called Asutosh College Durga Puja. Students from other colleges also attend our fests and enjoy.
