College life-LIMAT

Overall Rating
LIMAT is a very good place for value added education. The college provides placements about 40% of the people with an average package. In times of recession, LIMAT gives placements and 40% of all IT branches were placed. The environment for studying is good with a good library, high computing labs and comfortable classrooms.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued B.Tech in CSE branch. Entry is through AP EAMCET and the cutoff for our college is 70K for CSE under general category. Our branch has a well-defined faculty and responsible HOD. High computing labs for data analytics, computer labs are also available. Specialization like AI, Cloud computing was also taught.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty will teach all the subjects in a good manner. They will not mostly use PPT's, they mostly use board only. There are not mostly Ph.Ds and they are M.Tech graduates. They are not as qualified as we expected. The college will hire based on some hiring criteria and they can manage up to basic programming and stuff.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are not that good in our college. Just a few students’ means 40% are placed. Highest package will be 4.5 LPA and average will be 3 LPA and lowest will be 2.5 LPA. Placements are offered to only CSE students at maximum, a few other branches will be placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are available in college itself. Mostly the students are day scholars, so very less amount of people stays in the hostel. The hostel fee is around 50k per annum. Two varieties of dishes are provided in meals. All the items are good to eat and can satisfy all the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
LIMAT contains only one building. It is a 4-floor building. Library, hostels for boys and girls, IT infrastructure are available. College bus is available for people coming from long distances. Labs are available for all branches including Mechanical, Civil also. Mechanical branch is treated very specially they include gokarting etc.
 

Campus Rating
I recommend you join this college if the EAMCET rank doesn't permit you do join in other good colleges. It consists of good garden. We have sports club, and some players participate in national level competitions. Fests are arranged for freshers; any other technical days will be celebrated as well. College provides all opportunities as they can and utilising them is the responsibility of student further.

    LIMAT holds a positive overall response. Our college has strong academic programs and vibrant campus life. However, the ones who are willing to join this college must consider fee and students should explore financial aid options. Fee is around 35k per year if the person is joined through AP EAMCET.     LIMAT is a good place for education. It offers a comprehensive environment in management and technology fields. When choosing, I looked into the teaching quality, facilities, and job placements.
