Glimpse of SRM Chennai

Overall Rating
I had a wonderful experience with SRM. It gave me the courage in life. SRM has very good teaching staff and I got a bunch of great friends here. The classrooms are good, and canteen was too nice the prices in canteen are very reasonable. One thing my mind choose this college is it has a very reasonable tuition fee, and it is located inside the city area and very good teaching staff.
 

Academics Rating
One who wants to join in SRM they have to take the online exam and the link to that application form is there in their official website (www.srmist.edu.in) you can check their official website. And the minimum criteria to apply are 75% in both 10&12. It will in MCQ format, and the questions are easy. The exam will be in online mode.
 

Faculty Rating
The SRM faculties are well educated most of the staff owns a doctorate here. They are so nice to us, and they will teach you so many times you want when u had doubts. Each staff here has a different style of teaching, and it depends on the depth of subject. We also have fun creative learning sessions during our class times.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we had a placement session. It really helps the student in getting placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we had residential facilities too. It consists of all the facilities that our home has and also our hostel has a saloon, and small shops in it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus consists of total 8 blocks and each block are for different streams. We also had lift facilities, ground, sports club, canteen everything. Each classroom is well furnished and also 6 fans because it is a very classroom a total of 80 students can fit at a time. The classroom also consists of PPTs.
 

Campus Rating
SRM is well known for its fests. We conduct a various number of activities on every Saturday like bollywood night, festival celebrations and different games, music and dance competitions etc. We have different club's for both technical and non-technical events technical includes codechef, techclub, techwayna etc.

    SRM Ramapuram Campus located in Tamil Nadu. It’s quite good experience here where as students come from all southern states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.     SRM University is a deemed University and have lot of branches too. It is a well reputed university over the country. The admission process is fully done over through the counseling conducted by SRM University and management seats also filled. The fees structure is little bit higher than other universities.     I luckily got a seat here and I took B.Sc Chemistry. The campus is amazing here. All the staff members are PhD holders. They also conduct extracurricular activities to guide the students.     SRM has both positives and negatives and it varies from person to person. I personally will be crediting SRM for my career growth. Ramapuram campus is pretty small, it doesn’t have any ground. The campus is of 10-12 buildings and in between we had couple of basketball court in which all the students play other sports like football, cricket etc. Faculties are pretty approachable and few of them have created a lifelong bond.
