Overall Rating
I would like to share a detailed overview of Fergusson College. Right now I'm in 3rd year of BA History. I already heard a lots of about Fergusson College since my school days. So it became my dream college and by scoring enough in 12th to get admission, I took admission. Also I heard about the successful people who came from Fergusson College, and all this made me to take admission. Right now I'm enjoying in FC and I think others also choose this college without any doubt.
 

Academics Rating
While talking about the academics, course is affordable to all students. I think because there is not too much fees for it. For grant students it is not too much fees and for non grant students there is a little more fees. The admission process is available online and admission form is free of cost. For eligibility, you have to score maximum marks in previous course. The motive behind taking admission in this program is that, I'm gonna preparing for UPSC and it would be easy, so that's why I chose to take BA.
 

Faculty Rating
The overall faculty members are too good. Everyone take their teaching course very seriously. They sometimes do burden on the students by giving too much assignments and all. But these teachers are highly qualified like they have completed their Ph.D and NET-SET in their respective subjects. while talking about their teaching styles they always try to give more efforts while teaching, they always use the PPT presentation and other computer based teaching systems.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know much more about the Placement Cell but there is career guidance program. They guide us to help acquire jobs in various fields.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities at our college. They charge too much fees for it. May be it is not affordable to everyone. And all over facilities are also not good. Like the mess food is not good, rooms are too small, etc. I would not suggest anyone to opt for college hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are special departments for each subjects. Also special building for some subjects. The college is spread over in 65 acre and there are different blocks. That is not like a whole building. Also there is big library named as Wadia Library. It is one of the biggest libraries in India.it contains too much books which ever you want. In other amenities there is a big sports playground for playing various sports. Computer lab is also there.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life has been awesome till today. It's been really good days of mine in college. I think it is one of the best environment. There are various NGO present working for the problems of students like ABVP and ASO. Every year college arrange a festivals season. It is conducted in the first week of January. In festivals, various activities like dance, games, competitions, etc. included. Other sports and extra curricular activities are also taken place.

    The reason I chose this college is because it is considered to be Pune's best college and it stands so. I like my college in all terms academic, non academic, and extracurricular.     Fergusson College is quite good in teaching. The reputation of this college is also good. I chose to study here because its placement rate was better for my course. If you want, placement and experience good college life choose this college. It offers a practical based course. We have additional different subjects to choose like Animation, Economics, and many more so a student can follow his or her hobby also. This makes it different from other colleges....     I chose this college because I wanted to pursue Psychology and very few colleges offer this course. Plus this college is one of the top colleges of Pune. It also provided a Hons.     Fergusson college is a college of ethics, discipline and amazing academics. The college offers students the best curriculum which is very well structured and helps everyone to achieve their academic aspirations. The college is highly organised, they have a great website which keeps students and staff updated about the college regularly.
