Overall Rating
Chitakra university is located in Himachal Pradesh. It’s one of the best universities in the north zone. It is surrounded by the hills in all side so that’s what makes me to choose this university. The environment here is also very beautiful and every teaching staff and my colleagues are helpful. There are good extracurricular activities too.
 

Academics Rating
Chitkara university has two campuses i.e., one of Punjab and other of Himachal Pradesh. In both the university Punjab campus is the bigger one. In Himachal campus they offer CSE, Nursing, Pharmacy and BCA. The students above 70 percent or good percentile in JEE can take admission here. Here the main course taught is CSE.
 

Faculty Rating
In Chitkara university Himachal Pradesh. All teaching members and staff are helpful and taught in a nice way. As we have four courses in our university, ever course faculty teacher is well disciplined and involved in teaching activities. They conduct extra classes for those students who are week in a particular subject.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell at our university. The placement record of my university till now is better than other university around here.
 

Hostel Rating
There are three boys and three girls’ hostel far from each other inside one boundary in Chitkara University. We do have coolers and ac along with attached washroom inside our hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall campus is in 17 acres. There are 4 academic blocks each including, CSE block, pharmacy block, BCA block, and nursing block. The academic block of CSE is joined with a bridge called CU bridge which connects academic block and the registrar block. The environment here is greenery.
 

Campus Rating
Well, the structure of my university is small and since there are few courses offered here, individual student doesn’t feel like he is lost. There are many clubs in which student can join and explore their potential in particular fields. We have fest in every special occasion. We do have hostel committee and other clubs which helps us when we are in problem.

    I was going for Chitkara University, Rajpura campus but it was too far so I decided to come here also because it is less crowded than Rajpura campus and my seniors told me it is best for value of money. Students here are very talented and have critical thinking skills and focus on independence and self discipline.     So as asked in this above question what made me choose this university is that the quality of education provided. The fees structure compared to the other colleges is much more better than the others and best part of the hostel is you get every facility at the hostel including laundry, mess, food, table, chairs, almirah, clean bathrooms, balcony, air cooler, and even you get the facility of microwaves and induction cook top.     Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh is located at the border between Himachal and Haryana. It’s been 2 years since I joined this university, and I can tell you that its environment is good for those who love self-study and involving in extracurricular activities. The main thing here is it is far from city area so there is neither pollution nor noise. The university is surrounded by hills from all side which makes me feel to join this university....     Chitkara University is very best. Friends are very good here. It is ragging free campus and placement is also very good. Here students are very helpful to each other, and everyone is very social. The environment is also very good. Most of the students are getting placed through the university. It has green surroundings. So many students take internship at the end of 5th semester and off campus placements are also provided to the students on the basis of their skills.... Read Full Review
