An overview of IIIT Nagpur

Overall Rating
The institute is good. When I first came to the institute, I felt that this institute has good infrastructure. I chose this particular institute because of my score in JEE Mains. I got admission in this institute as well as in some other institutes, but this institute has good placements. So, I chose this institute. The reason why others should join this institute is its good placements.
 

Academics Rating
Now I am doing my B.Tech in ECE Department in IIT Nagpur. If you want to get seat in this institute, you need to apply for JEE Mains and you need to qualify JEE Mains exam. And you need to get eligible score in JEE Mains which are required for this course in this institute. I have chosen ECE branch because it has very good scope in future. The placements are also good for core students of ECE.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching of faculty here is very good. Faculties are very friendly. Every faculty here has much experience in their respective courses. And the faculty here is graduated from most renowned institutes like IITs and NITs and some are graduated from other foreign universities, and some are from top private universities. The way of teaching followed by them is very good. As they started from basics and then go deep into those concepts later on.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, in this institute there is a Placement Cell. The Placement Cell of this institute really helps the students in getting better placements by acquiring best jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, this institute has residential facilities. The hostels here are not that good but they are ok for students. The hostels need to be developed. The infrastructure of the hostels is also not good. There are no recreational activities provided to the hostel residents. We are paying so many fees for hostels, so we deserve better hostels than these.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this institute is very good. This institute has a separate library where you can find thousands of books. In this institute every branch has separate blocks for academics. Academic blocks are well equipped with ACs and projectors. This institute has separate auditorium to conduct cultural activities and some food courts are also available to eat food.
 

Campus Rating
The overall experience of mine about this institute is good. Mainly in this institute the academics is good. The curriculum followed by this institute is very good. There are some decent places near this institute to hang out with the friends. The students in this institute are nearly 2200. There are many clubs which run by students in this institute. There are two fests organised in this institute every year. One is tech fest, and the other is annual fest. There are many other cultural activities are also conducted in the institute.

    Indian Institute of Information and Technology Nagpur is one the well-known IIIT. As we all know that we select college on the basis of infrastructure and placements as well as on internship. Yes my college also promotes IT workshop and also sponsors the children for participating in various hackathons held in various parts of country.     IIIT Nagpur is a public-private partnership based institute, an institute of national importance. Being an IIIT, I chose this college. Here, the experience is decent. Campus life is average and the infrastructure is good as far as academic and administrative buildings are concerned. Faculties are highly qualified and are good in terms of teaching; course curriculum is well designed for students of every branch.     You will find the overall college life somewhere between average to good, in this college you can experience the campus life only if you are staying in the college hostel. I am saying this because only limited seats are there in the college hostel for freshers.     I chose IIITN because of the various reasons listed here: 1. I did not get any other top college better than this college. 2. This institute has a tag of national importance, which is a good thing. 3. The institute has a big campus area of 100 acres which is greater than many IIITs. 4. I wanted to take the Computer Science and Engineering branch which is one of the major reasons why I chose this college.
