Overall Rating
Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh is located at the border between Himachal and Haryana. It’s been 2 years since I joined this university, and I can tell you that its environment is good for those who love self-study and involving in extracurricular activities. The main thing here is it is far from city area so there is neither pollution nor noise. The university is surrounded by hills from all side which makes me feel to join this university.
 

Academics Rating
This university is located about 3 km far from Nanakpur. The overall area of Chitkara University is approximately 20 acres. It mainly has CSE background students along with Nursing, BCA, and Pharmacy. It is a private university so you can take admission based on your 12th percentile or JEE Examination percentile. It is a best university in terms of teaching and learning activities.
 

Faculty Rating
There are multiple courses provided in my university that are CSE, Pharmacy, Nursing, and BCA. Every teaching staff member and academic faculties are very cooperative. The university monitors the performance of every student and focuses on achievement of good results. The teachers at our university also took extra lectures for the students who want to study. They teach very clearly and makes understand every topic very well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in my university. The placement record of my university is quite best and in compared to other university located here is good. The Placement Cell ensures that every student will get job and the student who is capable of getting the job gets job at the end.
 

Hostel Rating
There are three boy’s hostel and three girl’s hostel which are inside the university compound and far from each other. In our hostel we have given the facility of both hot and cold water for bath and coolers in every room for summer. We do have better inside accommodation for the studies. We all are given one table and one chair with the bookshelf and a beautiful cupboard.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four academic blocks each for Pharmacy, Nursing, BCA, and CSE. Among them the building of CU Bridge is the best one. It’s been connected to each other with a bridge through which we can go from one block to other. There is also one library where every book is present. We can study till 9 PM and can borrow any book from there.
 

Campus Rating
We do have fests and party at every special occasion. We have many clubs where each individual can take part and be the member of that club. Club ensures that the one who participated in the club get better experience and can explore its own potential. It encourages him/her for further steps in life.

    I was going for Chitkara University, Rajpura campus but it was too far so I decided to come here also because it is less crowded than Rajpura campus and my seniors told me it is best for value of money.     So as asked in this above question what made me choose this university is that the quality of education provided. The fees structure compared to the other colleges is much more better than the others and best part of the hostel is you get every facility at the hostel including laundry, mess, food, table, chairs, almirah, clean bathrooms, balcony, air cooler, and even you get the facility of microwaves and induction cook top.     Chitkara University is very best. Friends are very good here. It is ragging free campus and placement is also very good. Here students are very helpful to each other, and everyone is very social. The environment is also very good. Most of the students are getting placed through the university. It has green surroundings.
