Deshbandhu College B.Sc Review By Ganesh Choudhary

The college is very good and has ample opportunities for students. We can grow our skills and widened our network with other alumni. It has other upsides also like campus space is sufficient and nearby societies is also good. The only downside is that there is no football ground. The admission process is online so kind of slow and is through CUET. The college has cafeteria and canteen at two different sites. Moreover, it has good space. Food is okay. Tea is good.

Deshbandhu college has many courses like B.Sc, BA, etc. programs in various fields. My motivation to enter this college is its scholarship and fees. To get admission you need to qualify CUET-UG. All varieties of courses and fields have good value. The students can choose their own fields. The placements are fine.

Faculties are passionate about teaching, but students don’t have that much of enthusiasm. Some faculties pass their time without teaching. Talking about faculty background they are from University of Delhi and the mathematics background teachers are mostly from IITs. They give good motivation when they say they used to study till 3 AM and sometimes sleep at that place too. It is a good motivation for us. Some teachers teach in a funny way and not loaded with assignments and students also enjoy this method. Moreover, complete their assignments on time too.

No hostel facilities..

There are different academic blocks for different courses like science block, arts block, etc. Buildings are in a good condition. Canteen and cafeteria facilities are available. The college has largest library in Delhi University and decorum also maintained by the officials. Cold water is also available in summers. College also provides fully functional labs for practicals.

Overall campus life is very good. College is near the Metro Station. Crowd is good. At the backside of college there are Cafes, Dominos, McD, La Pinoz, Third Wave Coffee, and for lunch and dinner Punjabi Tadka. Regular fest and events conducted in a brilliant way. People from different colleges can participate in events and in fests free of cost or has to pay very less amount of money. Here you can play Table-Tennis, Volleyball, can do Weightlifting, etc.
