Life at DCRUST

Overall Rating
Overall experience of the institute is good, and my rank and branch choice made me choose this institute. It has a huge campus of 272 acres and a good alumni network here you will get city exposure like Delhi and there is no lack of resources. hostels are also fabulous and room size of hostel is also filled with greenery the hostel for first year boys is HGK Hall 3 Some colleges have either good college life or city life, but we have both good college life and campus life roaming in campus in night and all other things attract me to take admission in this college.
 

Academics Rating
I took Civil Engineering in DCRUST B.Tech the rank required for this is 3lakh to 4 lakh in JEE mains and this is only requirement for this course there is not any 75 percent criteria in boards. The reason why I chose Civil Engineering is my interest in this side and the college is at a good rank in my home state Haryana that is why I think this is the best option for me.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors are from best colleges of India like IIT and nit and also some of them are also completed their education from foreign I think this is the best part of my course on the first day all of the faculty members told me that whatever we have to do they all will support, if possible, the quality of teaching is also above my expectations.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of civil is not good as of CSE because the students that opt for choose government job or business rather than going for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is the best place of the college according to me or all of the students of hostel, it provides a good mess food and also affordable the fees is 28000 to 30000 and mess bill is around 2000 per month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many blocks of all branches names as MV, CV, and JC etc. Our Civil Engineering block is MV block it has huge classes and well-furnished and there are different cabins of all professors where you can contact them any time freely. There is a huge library with all books present in it all kind of newspaper and centralized ac is also present there.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best giving us all opportunities and it has a huge size and having all kind of ground like cricket ground football ground and all kind of things are present in campus. All kind of clubs dancing (NPG, RPG), musical and dramatic clubs are present here. The main fest of the college is RYTHM held in November. Crowd is also average in this college.

    I have taken admission in this college by HSETES counseling last year. This college suits my personality as it provides me ample of time to discover the new discoveries. There is no strict attendance criteria for my branch and additionally there are various public holidays and weekends. This makes this college a place for the student who wants to take preparation of different government examinations.     The reason why I chose this particular university is because its fees structure is quite affordable, also it is a government university. It has good faculty and good facilities like huge lavish library, sports facilities, labs, etc. It provides hostel facility and food at an affordable cost.     The college is not good but the cons and pros differ from individual to individual. If you talk about it in a slightly balanced way as it is under the Govt. of Haryana and funded by Govt.
