All About Life at IIT Ropar

Overall Rating
IIT Ropar is a very good college in terms of everything Academics, Sports, Cultural Activities and other curricular activities. The campus is very beautifully built in a land area of more than 500 acres with lush greenery. The Professors and Assistant professors are also very good and highly educated with many years of experience. They cleared my all doubts only after saying once. Now all my concepts are crystal clear. Overall IIT Ropar is a very good college.
 

Academics Rating
Academics at IIT Ropar, I think are somewhat strict than other colleges. But are much beneficial to students. Academics of IIT Ropar is the strongest pillar of the college. The Courses are very well planned and are in order that no one has any high level of difficulty in understanding the concepts.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at IIT Ropar is very student friendly. Will the profession assistant professors and TS be very high level qualified in Academics. All the faculties give replies of student's doubt and questions very quickly. As I personally asked test some 10 to 12 outs in last 2 months and I got the answers of all of them in two or five minutes.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at IIT Ropar are very good. Highest package in 2023 is 55 LPA. And average package and median package are 22.49 LPA and 16.62 LPA respectively. All Named companies like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and others come here for placement every year. Even internships are very good even some of students gets their internship in 2nd year.
 

Hostel Rating
In my opinion hostels are the best in IIT Ropar as compared to other colleges. We have facilities of all things we have water cooler water dispenser water filtrations toilet seats of both types Indian and western we have facilities of hot and cold water for bathing and drinking and rooms are enough in space for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure at IIT Ropar is very good even it is very modern. It has Central AC everywhere in the campus. As the new campus of IIT Ropar was handed in 2019 before that the classes were used to have in transit campus so as the campus is built a very six or seven years ago it is very good in infrastructure, we have facilities of all things.
 

Campus Rating
Life in IIT Ropar is very good it has very lush greenery. Useful environment approx. 7 to 8 km away from City. And the crowd at IIT Ropar is not so much we would not feel crowd here. Fests are heart touching in IIT Ropar. There are three main fests in IIT Ropar one is its cultural fest Zeitgeist, one it's sports first Aarohan and one its tech fest called Advitiya. In 2023 Krishna came as main star in Zeitgeist.

    Actually, for getting a seat into IITs we have to clear JEE Advanced, and which is one of the toughest exams in the world. I thought to opt for this college because it was near to my city, and I am getting a seat in department of chemical engineering. You should go for this because this college has a great infrastructure and many more facilities.... Read Full Review

    I will give my personal experience to choose this institute because out of 2nd generation IIT it is far better than others. This institute is better in term of research, better infrastructure, and better campus life. Location wise it is also good because it is located 42 Km away from Chandigarh and Delhi -Ambala-Una NH21 connectivity.... Read Full Review

    IIT Ropar is very good college. This is a big campus in 525 acres including all types of facilities as sports music dance. There is a variety of clubs in our college.
