An average tier-3 college

Overall Rating
I chose this institute because of the brand name it has that it is associated with the Times Group. This is not that great in academics like top IIT's as it's a tier 3 college. But it still is decent as it does not limit you. As I had to choose computer science, so college was never a barrier to me and hence I did not worry much about being in a private college.
 

Academics Rating
Being a tier 3 college, there isn't any such entry requirements. They basically give admission to all. But they do offer scholarships based upon scores like jee or boards which you can check on the website. I'm enrolled in the Computer Science course as I was interested in it. However, as the strengths are doubling year by year, they are strict about the timelines.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is highly qualified. Everyone holds a Ph.D from a renowned government institute and they do teach well. They're very supportive and cooperative. They're friendly enough to take all the doubts and explain them properly. Even if you feel a particular teacher doesn't suit you, you can discuss your doubts with some other teacher as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has a Placement Cell. It majorly just sends mails and stuff regarding off campus opportunities. The placements are anyways not prominent in a tier 3 college. So don't expect the college to give you a job. You'll have to put in your own efforts and stand out.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities. As the strength is increasing the occupancy has been shifted to triple and 4 sharing. The rooms aren't spacious enough for so many students. It's sufficient for 2 only. The mess food is alright and Wi-Fi speeds are okay. Rest water and electricity supply are regular, and we have basketball, gym, football, cricket, squash, tennis, badminton, table tennis, swimming, and any other major sports facilities here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has 4 academic blocks where the classes are arranged. The classrooms are very spacious and are facilitated with projectors as well. Lecture halls even have a podium with mic and inbuilt PC (though nobody uses it, they bring their own laptops). Other common amenities like water coolers and washrooms are also there and the washrooms are clean enough. The infrastructure is very well built.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the clubs, fests aren't that great. They do exist but aren't something great. Overall campus life is good, you get plenty of time to study your interests and the exams and academics aren’t that strict. This college only has one demerit that the fee doesn’t justify itself. After all it's just a tier 3 colleges and it cannot compete the opportunities of a government institute but again, they do charge this premium for their faculty and infrastructure.

    The college is overall good. The infrastructure is also very good of this university. This university offers diverse courses and focuses on research and innovation. Its strong industry connections, global partnerships ensure excellent placement opportunities.     Bennett University is overall a good University with all facilities and all types of students. If you are disciplined and can resist temptation you can achieve everything. You'll never feel like something is lacking. But if can't control yourself there are all types of distractions which can ruin your life.
