Kalindi College B.A Review By Saksham Sharma

Kalindi College is considered as the reputed college lying in the list of Delhi University. It offers much wide range of courses on a merit basis. The college is on an average of 10 minutes as the walking distance from the nearest metro station of Rajendra Place with the Infrastructure and also the locality around the college is quite good. Fees as of under Delhi University are very affordable and for lower sections as well. Orientation is also organized and held up for new joiners and thus we get to enjoy fresher’s party as well being held up for the first years. Every year we have had enjoyed 2-3 days-long fest that is being held up around February and even the Farewell is organized for the last year's students. Fest includes many different kinds of enjoyable activities usually ending up with a concert of a famous personality or from some band. Diwali Mela is as well conducted each and every year competing other colleges.

The courses provided include a tone of knowledge. Best thing about the course I’m pursuing is that we are considered as the best batch of our college. Scholarships are as well provided by our college to the needy ones. But overall Kalindi college is really good and known for its English faculty, teachers support really well!

Teachers of our are not only well qualified but are very much interactive with their students and also provides them a tonne of knowledge as being a source delivered through their lectures. Teachers are really very friendly to each and every student in campus and also are always keen to provide notes on regular basis. Teachers also try not to suspend their class and take all of their lectures regularly as guided by the time table and also give us the marks as per our performance in the class as well as on the sheet. There is a particular society and department made for every activity and the subjects and teachers made in charge are always available for us there to help us out. Many of the teachers there are available who will guide you personally as well if you may require. All you need is to talk to them and listen to your teachers and further just focus on your career.

Most of the students admitted in my course usually prefer for pursuing much higher studies in this particular one only so they didn’t have to opt for any outer job. But according to what I have heard is that many of the students from our college averagely got the placements in many of the companies visited. Around 50% of students for our college get placements for sure every year. Students got to learn so much on how to perform in the survey and also the interaction with the outer environment from their friends and from most of the comfort level at home and college.

The hostel of Kalindi college is still in the process.

Wi-Fi facility is available for use in our college but mainly in the connectivity around the administrative block. Labs of our college are very well furnished and they have all of the basic equipment available there that is required by us. Tonnes of books according to courses and subjects are placed into our library and you would find many journals also there. All over if spoken for the food quality it isn’t much good in the canteen. The infrastructure of our college is always recommended clean and safe as in terms of the Delhi University as they always maintain the campus very awesomely.

As it is being a female college so I cannot say anything more about the gender ratio specially considered by the parents before sending their children into that particular college, but our college is safe with all the aspects that concerns one. If you want to talk about faculty into the gender then there gender ratio is quite balanced. Campus is very small as of compared with other colleges of Delhi University, but as per the area, it is well planned. Fests that are conducted every year are basically on a small scale due to the small area as compared with other colleges. There the campus life can be hectic for some students sometimes but overall considering it's very much enjoyable. Abundant of various extracurricular activities are held up there, like music, drama, NCC, sports, and many more.
