Review of VIIT Pune

Overall Rating
College is enough good for its placement and package. Teachers are well-qualified, and they encourage students to participate in hackathons and competitions. They guide students in projects, research papers, and patent filing, and various technical clubs are there in the college. As compared other colleges VIIT has good industry connect.
 

Academics Rating
In VIIT Mechanical Department has an Intake of 180 students. For admission into this course, we have to score a minimum 85 percentile for general category candidates. Even through JEE mains score we can take admission into this college. Diploma candidates can also be admitted into this course. For admitting into this MHT CET is compulsory. We take admission through the cap round only.
 

Faculty Rating
For the mechanical department, there are 20 to 22 faculties are there. Teachers are very cooperative and helpful by nature. There are seven to eight faculties are Ph.D. holders and others are M.Tech from reputed university members. Faculties are always involved in solving the problems of the students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell for VIIT. They conduct placement drives for students. Companies like Atlas, Kirloskar, Siemens Energy, Faurecia, etc. are coming to college for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does not have any hostel facilities for Students. Students choose private hostels and PGs. There are mess facilities also.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In this college per semester, there are two exams one is in semester exam and the other is an end-semester exam. The difficulty level of the exam is easy to moderate level. The syllabus is Industry oriented. Classes are equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors, and Benches. In the department has reading rooms for students to study. The library is there where we can access all academic books and competitive exam books.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, Campus life is Good. Gandharva is the annual fest of the college held in Feb which was seven-day event. Various cultural activities are taken in this fest. Various clubs are there for students by students like TEDx VIIT, EDC VIIT, CEC, NSS, etc. Various intercollegiate sports activities are also conducted by the college.

    I got to know from my friend that VIIT is one of the topmost colleges in Maharashtra. As I was clearing the cutoff for B.Tech branch that I wanted, I immediately applied for admission through CAP rounds. College has a really good infrastructure.
