A day in Jyoti Nivas

Overall Rating
Surrounded by trees and plants there is this beautiful women's college in between the magnificent Koramangala area is the Jyoti Nivas College. Here students from various backgrounds and states come here in search of their destiny and to fulfill their dreams. Few are the iron woman who wants to change the situation of their family, and few are the youth icon of inspiration. We have a numerous cultural event in our college and safety also at the same time.
 

Academics Rating
The center for media studies is the greatest department which offers the students to handle DSLR and photography equipment when there are cultural events in the college. The Department of Economics ensures that students are built as a young entrepreneur by conducting stalls in the college premises every Thursday's and Friday's. Faculties here make a bond with the students and make the subject clear. They help in all areas of academics.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here get with the students and keep a track in their education and their mental health also. They take care in every area and are a good friend with the students. Most of the population is female staffs which enables even more comfortable for the students to communicate with the teachers. They teach every concept clearly and explain in detail.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have Placement Cell in our college, and it offers us to do our internships right from our 1st year.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel fee is quite a high budget, but it is worth it. But hostel students are not allowed to go out in weekends with proper permission and intimation. The food is great here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is so good that department for media studies has 2 labs. And there is each lab for physics chemistry biology genetics and for biotechnology also. It is pretty cool inside the college because of the trees and garden area. There are 3 blocks one for PUC, one for degree and one for PG.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus vibe is awesome. We have 2 DJ night events conducted by the college itself which is ensures the safety for women as well. There is more joy and happiness in our campus. Since it is a girl’s college, there are no restrictions for our dress code, and no one stops you when you sit in college campus for hours.

    The infrastructure is quite good because it's a very old college, around more than 50 years which is located in a market area. So, the spacing is quite fine. It has PU block, PG block and Degree block in the same campus. There are two auditoriums and one amphitheater. It has a canteen which can accommodate a large number of students at a time.     I m an UPSC aspirant. Jyoti Nivas was my first choice in Bangalore as it gives perfect blend of subjects like public administration, sociology, and economics that helps me to understand all the three subjects. It helped me to understand my area of interest and explore the same.     Jyoti Nivas College is a reputed college in Bangalore, and it is an all-girls college. It is an autonomous college. There are both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the college. Post graduate programs are there in fields of management, science, and commerce. The MBA program of Jyothi Nivas College is associated to the Bangalore University.     Jyoti Nivas College is not ranked that high but it’s a nice college. First of all, it’s a girl’s college started by nuns and the group that handles the college is from France. We have them as the only male visitors because other than that there are hardly any men invited to the campus. The college is a milestone as the college mostly stays away from the limelight and still holds a great reputation among the women’s colleges in the country.
