KMV - Girls College Reality

Overall Rating
I am a student of Biotechnology Department of this college. This college has state of the art infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, highly experienced faculty, and regular tests are taken for assessment of students. Extra courses are also included in the course for holistic development of students (personality development, job orientation programmers). Overall, this is a good college for brighter future.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility for B.Sc Biotechnology is medical in 12 classes. No entrance exam was taken for the course. Admission is given on the basis of first come first served basis. Regular class performance test, mid semester tests are taken for assessment of students. More emphasis is given on practical as biotechnology is an applied field.
 

Faculty Rating
Well qualified and highly experienced faculty. They are extremely passionate towards their job, easy to approach and are helpful. Many of the teachers are doctorate in biotechnology or in their respective subjects. Teachers use projectors for teaching while some prefer laptops. Teachers use power point presentations so as to learn in a fun and creative way.
 

Placement Rating
Many companies like concentric, Byjus, Radisson visit the campus every year to offer job. Some of the students get placed in the job while many students opt for higher education.

Infrastructure Rating
State of the art infrastructure, smart classrooms with projectors, well equipped laboratories containing all the main expensive equipment used in biotechnology lab are present in the department. A departmental library is also present in the department which contains many reference books is also available in the department.
 

Campus Rating
Lush green campus is one of the hallmarks of the college. Regular functions and fests are conducted so as to boost development of the student. Talent fiesta, annual fest, annual sports meet, Stress buster club and a counselor for counseling the students is also available in the campus. A photographer is also present in the campus.
