A great women college

Overall Rating
Our college Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar is the 1st women college set up all over the Punjab. The environment in the college is said to be eco-friendly and with very good infrastructure with the beauty of peacocks' plants and birds. It provides us the natural and good environment to study in and the well supportive teachers.
 

Academics Rating
If we talk about overall academic, it is said to be very good with good teachers. I am from department of biotechnology so; the admission within the course is through the 12 class bases. No entrance exams are taken up. Biotechnology can be chosen to be non-medical and the medical students. The department provides the practical as well as theoretical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty all over the college is said to be supportive. As they provide knowledge about their experiences, and they encourage us for the different competitions and for the future entrance exams. Faculty is well behaved, and they have a good knowledge about their subjects. The teachers take the help of PPT and word document to show the attractive study.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, it provides good placement training as encourages the students’ confidence as well as enhances the student’s personality.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel has hygienic washrooms, hygienic foods and good food, and valid hostel fees.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is said to be attractive because of the historical, architectural structure, green environment and the main Sarawati Mata statue which is said to be the best part of the college infrastructure. The departments of different subjects are distributed with well good buildings and labs.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is said to be very good and enjoyable the crowd in the campus is said to be very much and different clubs of function and departmental activities functioning fests are said to be held time to time and are said to be very much good and enjoyable and the other educational activities and different physical activities are held.

This college has state of the art infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, highly experienced faculty, and regular tests are taken for assessment of students.
