Review of VIIT Pune

Overall Rating
VIIT is known for its placement and good faculty. As compared to other colleges VIIT has good industry connections and collaboration with various companies. The college has industry labs like Atlas Copco and Forbes Marshall. The overall experience of college is good. The college has strong academic, sports and cultural background.
 

Academics Rating
I am a Mechanical Engineering student. There are 8 semesters in this course. In VIIT every semester has two exams one-semester exam and another one end-semester exam. To gain admission in this, we have to appear for the MHT CET exam, once the results are declared the cap round process starts, we have to apply for this cap round process. For the general category, students have to score a minimum 85 percentile to get this course in this college.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well experienced they are very well at teaching. There are 22 to 25 faculties out of them 7 to 8 faculties are Ph.D. holders, and the remaining faculties are M.Tech. They always encourage students to work on Industry projects, Patents, and Research papers. They help students in preparing for competitive exams. Overall faculty behavior with student is good.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell for VIIT which will conduct various training programs for final-year students. Final-year students were working on Industry projects. TPO will help students get placed on college campuses.
 

Hostel Rating
College doesn’t have hostel facility. For girls, there is a hostel facility by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
At the start of the academic year college academic calendar is in which exam time, and vacations are mentioned. For Mechanical Engineering students there is a workshop in which lathe machines and CNC machines are there. Classrooms are well maintained with projectors, benches, Fans, and Wi-Fi. A lift facility is also there for students. The college has a big canteen which provides fresh and hygienic food at an affordable price.
 

Campus Rating
There are various technical, non-technical, and cultural events were organized on the college campus. Gandharva is the annual fest of VIIT which is held on Feb. NSS VIIT is the socially active club is there. And some other clubs like EDC VIIT, CEC, and TEDx VIIT are clubs organized by students for students.

    I got to know from my friend that VIIT is one of the topmost colleges in Maharashtra. As I was clearing the cutoff for B.Tech branch that I wanted, I immediately applied for admission through CAP rounds. College has a really good infrastructure.
