Honest review of VIIT

Overall Rating
I have chosen this college because it provides good placement opportunities, and the college faculties is very good. VIIT College has low fees for reserved category students. It will count in the top 10 institutes from Pune. As compared to other colleges VIIT is best for his academics and Placements.
 

Academics Rating
I am studying in the Final year of Mechanical Engineering. The Mechanical Department has an intake of 180 students now from 2023 onwards the intake has reduced to 120 students. We can take admission through the MHT CET score by applying the Cap round process conducted by the MHT CET cell. Even through JEE mains score we will take admission into this college.
 

Faculty Rating
In the Mechanical Department, there are 25 faculty members. Out of 25, 7 to 8 are associate professors and the remaining are assistant professors. They have completed their education at top universities There are two sides to communication between the students and teachers while teaching. They are very helpful in nature.
 

Placement Rating
There is a combined Placement Cell for VIT and VIIT students. From 6th semesters itself, students are eligible for placements. Placement Cell conducts various programs and webinars for students. The placement training session is conducted by the Training and Placement office.
 

Hostel Rating
There is not any residential facility in the college. Private hostels and PGs were preferred by most students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In College, there is a library and reading facility is there for all department students. There is Seminar Hall is also present for conducting webinars and sessions. Indoor and Outdoor game facilities are also there in the college. A parking facility is also provided in the college. Classrooms are well maintained with benches WIFI and projectors. The workshop is well maintained having all types of amenities. Canteen facility for students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. There are various department-wise clubs are there. For mechanical Department Clubs like MESA, Vishwaracers, BAJA, etc. There are social Clubs like NSS which organize blood donation camps, Tree plantations, etc. Gandharva is the main annual fest of VIIT held in Feb which was 7 day seven-day-long cultural event. There are various Hackathons and sports competitions organized by the college.

    I got to know from my friend that VIIT is one of the topmost colleges in Maharashtra. As I was clearing the cutoff for B.Tech branch that I wanted, I immediately applied for admission through CAP rounds. College has a really good infrastructure.
