XAT Registration 2025 (Ongoing): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

XLRI Jamshedpur (conducting body) has already started the XAT registration 2025 process from 15^th July 2024. Candidates can appear in XAT exam to get admissions in the MBA / PGDM courses offered by the XAMI Institutes and other top B-schools. XAT is a computer based test which is conducted once in a year.

Eligible candidates can visit ‘xatonline.in’, the official website, to fill the Application Form of XAT 2025. This article comprises the detailed information about the XAT 2025 registration like its dates, fees, steps to register, required documents, etc.

The given below are the essential points that indicate the XAT registration fees:

• XAT 2025 registration fee: Rs 2200 /- for both reserved and unreserved category candidates.
• Candidates who wish to apply in XLRI courses are required to pay an additional amount of Rs 200 / - each.
• The XAT registration form fee is non-refundable.

Aspirants can fill the application form on or before the XAT registration deadline by following the given below steps:

Step 1: Register

• Visit XAT official website i.e., xatonline.in.
• Click on the “Register” tab displayed on the home screen.
  
• Fill all requisite details like candidate’s name, phone number, email ID, password, and captcha code.
• Candidates will receive a unique XAT ID and registration link on their valid email ID.
• Now, to verify the registration, click on the link received on your email ID.
  

* Candidates who have already registered can skip the above mentioned steps and directly login on the official website.

Step 2: Log In

• Revisit the XAT official website.
• Click on the “Log In” icon displayed on the homepage.
• Enter the XAT ID and Password received on the registered email.

* In case, if candidates forget their login ID and password, they have to look for the “Login” option on the website and proceed to “Forgot password”. Candidates will receive a new Login ID and Password on their registered email address.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

• Once the candidates login, XAT Exam Application Form will be displayed on the desktop screen.
• Now, fill the form with personal details, academic details, contact details, work experience details (if any), and programme details.
• While filling the form, candidates have to choose 6 test cities according to their preference.
• Candidates have to scan and upload the photo & signature for verification purposes.

Step 4: Submit

• Candidates can click on the “Preview” tab for reviewing the filled details in the form and make changes (if required).
• Click on the “Submit” tab after verifying all the details.
• Now, navigate the “Payment” tab to pay the application fee.
• Lastly, press the “Submit” icon to complete the process.
  

* XAT Admit Card date has been released by the authorities i.e., 20^th December 2024. After the successful registration, aspirants can download the admit card from “xatonline.in”

Candidates require below-given documents while filling the XAT application form:

• Passport Size Photograph
• Class 10th & 12th Marksheet
• Graduation Marksheet
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Category Certificate (If Any)
• Signature

* Above mentioned documents are only required to fill in the details of the form. Only the candidate's signature, photograph, and photo ID are required to upload with the application form.

The photograph instructions about the XAT exam 2025 registration are stated below:

• Candidate’s photograph should be a recent passport size colour picture.
• There should not be any type of harsh shadows on the photo.
• While clicking the photo, candidates should look straight at the camera.
• There must not be a “red-eye”, if applicants are using flash.
• Students should ensure that there is no reflection on their photo if they are wearing glasses.
• Photo should be without any caps and dark glasses. Only religious headwear is allowed but the candidate's face should be visible.
• The size of the scanned image should be between 20KB – 50KB. In case, if the size of the photo is more than 50KB, adjust the scanner settings like DPI resolution, number of colours, etc.

Following are the instructions related to the signature:

• Students have to sign with black ink pen on plain white paper.
• It should be ensured that the signature is only signed by the applicants and not by any other individual.
• The signed signature will be used on the candidates admit card and wherever it is important.
• Students' signature on the admit card and attendance sheet during the exam must match with the uploaded signature. Candidates will be disqualified from the exam if their signature is not matched.
• Scanned image of the signature must be between 20KB - 50KB.

Candidates need to follow the below-given guidelines / instructions for scanning and uploading the photograph and signature during XAT registration.

Scan: At the time of filling the XAT registration form, candidates can scan the photograph / signature by following the given below points:

• Scanner resolution needs to be a minimum of 200 DPI (Dots Per Inch).
• Set the true colour and size of the file as mentioned above.
• Now, properly crop the image in the scanner. After that, use the upload editor to crop the photograph to the specified final size.
• The image file should be either in the format of JPG / JPEG.

Upload: Below-mentioned are the steps to upload the signature / photograph:

• There are two separate links to upload a signature and photograph.
• Candidates have to click on the concerned link “Upload Photograph / Signature’’.
• After that, search and choose the place where the file of the scanned photo / signature is saved.
• To select the right file, click on it.
• Lastly, press on the “Upload” icon.

Here are some key points to remember for XAT 2025 exam registration:

• It is not compulsory to pay the application fee at the same time of the form filling. But, it should be paid before the XAT 2025 registration last date as the application form will not be submitted until the payment is done.
• After the payment of the exam fee, an e-receipt will be generated. In any case, if the e-receipt is not generated, this indicates the Payment Failure.
• In case of payment failure due to any reason, students are advised to login again with the already generated credentials and repeat the same process again.
• Applicants are advised to take a printout of the e-receipt and application form for future references.
• Candidates need to enter requisite details in the registration form to receive a confirmation email. In case of any issue, they can raise a query related to the same.
