The exam conducting body i.e., Vellore Institute of Technology (Deemed to be University) conducts VITEEE exam every year. Through the VITEEE exam, aspirants can get admission in the UG course in the discipline of Technology in different VIT campuses including Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Andhra Pradesh (AP). Students who aspire to get admission in B.Tech courses in VIT campuses need to qualify the eligibility requirements of VITEEE. Every year, the eligibility criteria is designed by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

The VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria is as follows:

• Academic Qualifications: Students must have passed Class 12^th / equivalent or appearing in the same.
• Qualifying Marks: Secured minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination (Q.E) with PCM / PCB / PCMB. 50% marks are required for Schedule Category students, the candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir / Ladakh, and students from the Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.
• Age Limit: Candidates who have born on 1st July 2003 or after are eligible for the entrance test.
• Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, and PIOs can apply for the exam.

After satisfying the eligibility criteria, students can start the VITEEE 2025 Registration process online at “viteee.vit.ac.in”. VIT (the exam conducting body) will open the registration window most probably in November 2024.

Aspirants need to register with the valid mobile number and email address on the official website of the entrance exam. After successful registration, students can fill in the details of the application form by logging in with the generated credentials and complete the process by paying the prescribed examination fee.

The exam pattern of VITEEE is set by the test conducting body i.e., VIT. This exam is a Computer Based Test which is conducted in English language only. As per the test pattern, the VITEEE 2025 exam question paper will have 125 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that carries a total of 125 Marks. The specified time duration for the paper is 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.

As per the VITEEE 2025 Exam Pattern, students will get 1 Mark for every correct answer and no marks will be deducted for unattempted and wrong attempted questions.

It is mandatory for the students to complete the VITEEE 2025 Slot Booking process to access the admit card. VIT (the exam conducting body) will conduct the slot booking online at VIT's Online Test Booking System (OTBS). Students need to login with the application number and password for slot booking at VIT OTBS.

Through this, candidates can opt for the venue, date, and time for the exam at their desired test city. The exam authorities do the slot booking on a first come first serve basis. Candidates should know that once the slot is booked, it cannot be changed. So, they need to be very careful while filling in the details while booking their slot.

The VITEEE 2025 Admit Card will be uploaded by the exam authorities tentatively in April 2025 on the official website i.e., ‘viteee.vit.ac.in”. Students who have registered and completed the slot booking process for the exam will be able to get their admit card. Candidates have to visit the exam’s official website with their login credentials to download the admit card.

On the exam day, if students fail to present the admit card / hall ticket at the test centre, they will not be permitted to appear in the exam.

• Candidates cannot bring the calculator or any other personal belongings like mobile phones, smart watches, etc inside the exam hall.

Vellore Institute of Technology will announce the VITEEE 2025 Result expectedly in 1^st Week of May 2025 after the exam day. The result will include the marks and rank secured by the candidates in the VITEEE exam.

The VITEEE 2025 Cut Off will be declared by the exam authorities on “viteee.vit.ac.in” (the exam’s official website). The cut-off list will define the minimum marks a student is required to score in the entrance examination for admission in a B.Tech course under one of the four VIT campuses. Through the cut-off list, students will get an idea about the rank they require to score in respect with particular campuses of VIT.

Candidates are suggested to refer to the cut-off list of the past year to get an idea about the standard marks required that they will need to obtain in the VITEEE.

The VITEEE 2025 Counselling notification will be declared by the test conducting body on the exam’s official website. The counselling / selection process will be started after the exam result is out and it will be done in 5 phases. Students need to participate in the counselling process to get a seat in their desired participating Institutes.

Students are required to fill the registration form of counselling by paying the fee of Rs.5900/- and the counselling fee is non-refundable after the payment. Afterwards, candidates have to select their concerned course and campus in which they want to secure a seat. Once all the formalities are completed, VITEEE 2025 Seat Allotment result will be declared by the authorities. The seat allotment will be based on the rank / marks secured in the entrance test.

If students fail to appear in the first phase of counselling, they can appear in the second phase but the choices will be limited. Students will be able to get the provisional admission letter from the portal after the successful payment of the counselling fee.
