TG POLYCET (TS POLYCET) Exam Pattern 2025: Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

In accordance with the TG POLYCET exam pattern 2025, the exam will be held in offline mode for 2 Hours and 30 Minutes i.e., 150 minutes. The question paper will consist of 4 different sections with MCQ based questions. Each question will have 4 answer choices out of which only one will be correct.

TS POLYCET / TG POLYCET is a state-level exam conducted for admission into Diploma courses in Engineering, Polytechnic, and other streams offered by participating institutes in Telangana. The TG POLYCET pattern 2025 is designed by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad, Telangana (SBTET).

As per the TG POLYCET marking scheme, all the questions will carry equal marks. Refer to the below-listed points to understand the marking criteria of the TG POLYCET 2025 / TS POLYCET 2025 exam question paper:

• 1 mark will be awarded for opting every right answer.
• No negative marking will be applicable for wrong answers.

Candidates appearing for TG POLYCET / TS POLYCET exam must consider some important points regarding the TG POLYCET exam pattern:

• Candidates who want to secure admission in Agricultural & Veterinary Diploma courses offered by PJTSAU, PVNRTVU and SKLTSHU have to compulsorily attempt the Biology section.
• For PJTSAU, PVNRTVU and SKLTSHU, rank will be given according to the marks in PCMB. For diploma Courses in Polytechnics, the rank will be given as per the marks in PCM.
• There will be two separate ranks for students who have opted for MPC. A total of 120 marks and for MBiPC rank will be considered, and for the other, the Mathematics section marks will be dropped down to 30.
• For students willing to take the exam in Urdu medium, a separate centre will be allotted where the facility of Urdu translation during the examination will be available. Such students will need to appear for the examination at the centre which is Government Polytechnic, Masabtank, Hyderabad.

According to the TG POLYCET Syllabus, the topics of the 4 subjects will be covered in the entrance exam. The subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The curriculum will be based on the level of 10^th standard.
