TG ICET (Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test) was earlier known as TS ICET. It is a State Level Entrance Examination for admission in Postgraduate programs like MBA and MCA. Kakatiya University, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE / TSCHE), will conduct the exam in three sessions. The TS ICET exam is expected to be conducted in the 2^nd Week of June 2025. TG ICET / TS ICET 2025 exam is a Computer Based Test which is conducted for students who want to seek admission in the Masters Degrees (MBA & MCA) offered in Universities in Telangana and its affiliating colleges. Kakatiya University will soon release the official notification about the TGICET 2025 on its official website.

Interested and eligible students need to register on “icet.tsche.ac.in”. The registration window for all three sessions is expected to be open in the 2^nd Week of March 2025.

Aspiring candidates of the exam should fill the TS ICET Registration 2025 form before its deadline. The application form will be released on the exam's official website that is “icet.tsche.ac.in”, interested candidates need to navigate this website to start the registration process.

The TS ICET registration / application forms are expected to be released by the 2^nd Week of March 2025. It is mandatory for the candidates to fill in all the required details in the form and complete the application process by paying the registration fees.

For the exam preparation, students should access the TS ICET Syllabus 2025 from the exam’s official website. As per the syllabus of last year, there are 3 sections which are as follows:

• Section A: Analytical Ability
• Section B: Mathematical Ability
• Section C: Communication Ability

Students should go through the exam pattern to have a clear understanding about the format of test paper such as total number of questions, marking scheme, type of questions, etc. As per the TS ICET Exam Pattern 2025, the question paper will contain a total of 200 MCQs which have to be solved within the time frame of 150 minutes. 

In the question paper, there will be 75 questions (each in Section A and B) and 50 questions in Section C. Students will be granted 1 Mark for a correct answer. Moreover, there is no negative marking for a wrong answered or unattempted question.

On the exam day, students must carry the hard copy of their admit card at the test centre otherwise they will be exempted from the exam. Once the exam authorities release the TS ICET Admit Card 2025 / Hall Ticket, candidates need to download it from “icet.tsche.ac.in”. For the same, registered candidates have to visit the website and enter details like their registration number, date of birth, and qualifying examination hall ticket number.

Kakatiya University will conduct the exam at 20 Online Test Zones out of which 16 are located in Telangana and the remaining 4 are situated in Andhra Pradesh. Students have to opt for maximum 3 test cities of their choice at the time of filling the exam registration form. Afterwards, students will be allotted with one test city by the exam conducting body.

To attain a good score in the exam, aspirants need to prepare well. The below-given are some tips that will aid students in increasing the level of their TS ICET Preparation 2025:

• Students are advised to practise with previous year papers & mock tests to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
• Applicants must cover all the topics and sub-topics prescribed in the exam syllabus.

• In the examination hall, students are not permitted to exchange any sort of items / things. If the examiner finds out any students doing this, a strict action will be taken by the test authorities against them.
• Students are not allowed to carry any gadgets including phones, smart watches, calculators, etc. inside the examination hall.
• Candidates must know that without the printed copy of admit card, their entry at the exam centre is prohibited. So, they must bring the hall ticket at the centre to appear for the test.
• During the examination, students are restricted from leaving the test hall. They have to wait until the exam time gets over.
• To complete all the formalities on-time, students should reach the exam centre before the starting time of the test.

Individuals can make their exam preparation more effective by solving TG ICET previous year papers and sample papers. The conducting body uploads the previous year papers on the official website of the TG ICET / TS ICET. Practising sample papers will aid students in becoming familiar with the exam pattern and type of questions they can expect in the paper.

Students can boost their level of exam preparation by solving the mock test. The TG ICET Mock Test 2025 is made available to the students on the exam’s official website. Only registered candidates can login with the user ID and password to access the mock test.

Through mock tests, students will be able to gain an understanding of the type of questions which will be there in the actual exam paper. Candidates are advised to take the mock test a few days before the exam to analyse their actual preparation for the test.

Kakatiya University (the exam conducting body) will issue the TS ICET Result 2025 in the form of rank card. It is necessary for the candidates to have a rank card for admission in the participating institutes. The Rank Card / Result will reflect the candidates’ name, roll number, total marks, qualifying rank, etc.

Once the exam authorities release the result, students must visit “icet.tsche.ac.in” and enter the below-given details to download the rank card:

The TG ICET Cut-Off list reflects the minimum score a candidate is required to achieve to take admission in the MBA and MCA programmes within the participating Universities / Institutions in Telangana. Once the results are out, the participating Universities & colleges will release their cut-off lists separately.

As per the previous year cut-off prescribed by the exam authorities, candidates have to secure at least 25% marks i.e., 50 out of 200 (For unreserved category). Whereas, for SC / ST category students, no minimum qualifying marks are specified.

The Qualified students get the Seats alloted in one of their desirous Universities or their affiliating colleges on the basis of their rank obtained in the entrance exam. TG ICET Counselling Process 2025 of the exam includes two phases that are Registration (Phase 1) and Slot Booking (Final Phase).

Students have to fill the counselling form online and pay the required fee. Once the applicants complete the payment process, they will be able to book a slot for TG ICET Seat Allotment 2025. After verification of all the formalities, students will be allotted with a seat in their concerned participating universities / colleges.
