TANCET Registration 2025 (Closed): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The TANCET Registration 2025 has been started by the exam conducting body i.e., Anna University from 24th January 2025. Candidates are required to refer to the official website of the TANCET 2025 exam in order to apply online before the last date of registration which is 21st February 2025.

The TANCET is an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) based State-level Entrance Examination that is authorised by the Tamil Nadu Government & is held to offer admission to the Postgraduate Programs like MBA & MCA in various Colleges / Institutes / Universities of Tamil Nadu.

Students who wish to study MBA or MCA in the Anna University or one of its constituent Colleges or the University Departments / Government & the Government aided Colleges / Self-financing Colleges / Annamalai University / other participating colleges of Tamil Nadu must complete their TANCET Registration 2025 before the deadline. Before starting the TANCET Registration 2025, applicants must ensure that they fulfil the TANCET eligibility criteria 2025 prescribed by the conducting body (Anna University, Chennai).

Step 1: TANCET 2025 Registration

• Navigate the official website of TANCET i.e., “tancet.annauniv.edu”.
• Begin the Registration process by entering basic details such as Name (as per SSLC Marksheet), email id & password, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Choice of Examination i.e., MBA / MCA.
• Following this, the candidate will be successfully registered.
  

Step 2: Log in to fill the TANCET 2025 Application Form

• Log in using the email id (Login ID) & password (entered during the registration process) to start filling the Application Form.

*Candidates must be aware of the TANCET application form last date, and fill the form anytime before the due date i.e., tentatively in the 2^nd Week of February 2025.

Step 3: Fill-in the Details

• Here, fill in the Personal Information such as Gender, Address, Pincode, Community, Sub-Caste Code, Nationality, Religion, etc.
• Information about Educational Qualifications like the Registration Number & the Year of Passing, & other course specific details of SSLC / 10^th Standard, HSC / Diploma, & the Qualifying Degree must be entered correctly.
  

Step 4: Select the Test Centre

• Anna University conducts the TANCET exam in 15 different allocated Exam Centres. Choose any one of the desired Test Centre to appear for the entrance test.
  

Step 5: Upload the Documents

• After filling-in all the above information accurately, upload the required scanned documents in the prescribed format.

Step 6: Verification & Submission of the Registration Form

• After finishing uploading of documents, properly go through the TANCET application form 2025 & check that all the provided details are true and correct.
• Following this, click on the ‘Submit’ icon.

Step 7: Fee Payment

• After submitting the TANCET registration form 2025, candidates will be redirected to the Payment Screen.
• Follow the instructions given on the Payment Window to pay the applicable fee.

• Once the payment is successful, download the TANCET 2025 Application Form for future reference.

• Students should login to the TANCET registration 2025 Portal after 2-3 days of successfully paying the Registration Fee to view the Approval Status of their online registration.

• Candidates must thoroughly check their Application Form before making the payment. After submission, no changes / modifications in the Application Form will be permitted.
• The details of the candidates will be verified by the conducting body after the payment of the Registration Fee.
• Once the test centre is selected & submitted in the application form, it cannot be modified later.
• After downloading the form, students are advised to take its printout for future reference.

* Students belonging to the ST / SC / SCA Category of Tamil Nadu are eligible to avail Fee Concession. To get the same, they must submit their Community Certificate as a proof.
