Candidates must be aware of the TANCET 2025 Exam Pattern so that there will be no confusion on the actual exam day. The entrance exam is an OMR based test of 100 marks that consists of a total of 100 questions. There will be 4 options given to choose from for every question in the OMR sheet. Students must shade the desired correct option completely using a black ball pen. Use of pencils to shade the OMR sheet is not allowed, & will be considered as an incorrect answer.
The weightage of each question is 1 mark and 1/4th marks (0.25 marks) are deducted for each incorrect answer. Students must note that if more than one box is shaded for a particular question, 0.25 marks will be deducted for that too.
* The OMR sheets of the TANCET exam are scanned through the computer for evaluation; therefore, students must shade the answer boxes so that the option number gets completely covered. If not, the answer may not be scanned by the scanner properly, resulting in wrong evaluation.
