SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2025 (OUT): Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

SRMJEEE 2025 is a University level exam conducted by the SRM University for which candidates apply to take admission in B.Tech in one of the SRM Colleges. As per the SRMJEEE exam pattern 2025, the entrance test will be conducted in Remote Proctored Online Mode. In the SRMJEEE 2025, there will be a total of 125 MCQs which candidates have to solve within the duration of 150 Minutes. The authorities do not apply negative marking for incorrect answers. Once the candidate goes through the whole syllabus, it is necessary to understand the SRMJEEE exam pattern.

The pattern refers to what subjects will be there, how many questions from each subject will be there in the exam paper, the type of questions it will include, how much marks each question will contain, etc. For a candidate who is preparing for SRMJEEE 2025, it is important to understand all these aspects before appearing for the actual exam.

The candidates who opt for PCMEA – Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Aptitude sections in the SRMJEEE will be eligible for all the B.Tech Programs in SRM Colleges. On the other hand, students who have opted for PCBEA - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Aptitude sections in the SRMJEEE 2025 Exam will be eligible to apply for B.Tech Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology with all of its specializations in SRM Colleges. For whatever subjects the candidates are choosing, they must first check the SRMJEEE 2025 exam syllabus for the same.

The exam paper pattern is designed with five sections to check multiple skills of the candidates. The first three sections will check the aptitude of candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology. The English section is designed in a way that it tests the grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary skills of the candidates. The last section i.e., aptitude is there to judge the problem solving and analytical skills & abilities of the students.

SRMJEEE Exam paper will comprise 5 sections; all these will have MCQ-based questions. The questions for all five sections will be mostly based on 12^th standard curriculum. All the questions from every section will carry one mark each for the right answer.

Negative Marking

All the questions in the exam will have four options out of which the candidates will have to choose one. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers in any section. Absence of negative marking in SRMJEEE 2025 exam will help the students attempt maximum number of questions without having the fear of losing marks for wrong answers. The concept of no negative marking in the paper is kept so that the students can maximize their chances of qualifying their exam without worrying about making mistakes.

Candidates must have all the required things in place on the exam day. As SRMJEEE is a remote proctored exam, the candidates need to ensure that they fulfill below-listed system requirements:

• A Laptop in a working condition.
• The system needs to have a functional microphone & camera.
• Laptop should have at least 4 GB RAM.
• Intel i3 4^th Generation or any equivalent CPU is required.
• System should have 2 GB free space on the hard disk.
• The Laptop should have Windows 8 installed or it must be at least a Mac 10.14 Mojave.
• High Internet speed; minimum of 1 MBPS.]
