SET Exam Registration 2025 (Ongoing): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The SET Exam Registration 2025 is open from December 2024. Students can apply online by visiting the exam’s official website. The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) i.e., the test conducting body will be closing the SET exam 2025 registration on 12^th April 2025.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Exam is held for students to secure admission in various specialisations of UG Hons. or Hons. with Research courses including BBA, B.A, BCA, and B.Sc programs and for Dual Degree BBA offered by the various Symbiosis Institutes.

The SET exam application form 2025 will be released in  December 2024 online on “set-test.org” that is the official website of the exam. Eligible candidates need to ensure that they complete the application process of SET Exam 2025 only till 12^th April 2025.

To pay the SET Exam application form 2025 fees, students are provided with 3 payment mode options out of which they need to opt for 1; following are the details of the same:

• Easebuzz Payment Gateway
• Demand Draft (DD)

Candidates applying for the Symbiosis SET Exam have to pay Rs. 2250 /- as an examination fee which is neither refundable-nor transferable. Along with this, students also need to pay a programme registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (for each course) they are applying for admission in any of the Symbiosis Institutes.

Note: Students opting for DD payment mode are required to get a demand draft from any Nationalised Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. Once the authorities check the details of DD, they will send a confirmation email to the students about the successful payment of the registration fee.

To apply in the SET Exam 2025, eligible candidates are required to follow the below-given step-by-step process:

Step 1: Registration and Payment

• Go to the official website of the exam i.e., ‘set-test.org”.
• Click the “Apply for SET / SITEEE 2025” icon available on the home page.
• Now, press the “Register” option and read all the Instructions carefully.
• Afterwards, press the “Check Box” button and then click the “Continue” option.
• Fill in the following details for the SET Exam 2025 registration:
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Date of Birth (DOB)
  • Category
  • Mobile Number
  • Valid Email ID
  • Test Dates (Session 1 / Session 2 / Both)
  • Exam Cities / Centres (Any 3 from the prescribed list by the authorities).
  • Class 12^th Details
• After filling in all the details, upload the recent passport size photograph in prescribed format.
• Click the “Check Box” icon.
• Now, press the “Save & Continue” option to receive an OTP on the registered mobile number and email ID.
• To get an email containing an SET ID and Password, enter the OTP and Submit it.
• To continue, click on the “Save and Continue” button to get redirected to the Payment page.
• Now, complete the SET exam registration 2025 process by paying the application fees through any one of the prescribed payment modes.

*  Already Registered / Existing Users do not need to follow the above-mentioned steps, they can directly login / sign in on the exam’s official website with required credentials to start the application process.

Step 2 - Fill in the Application Form

• Once the payment transaction is completed successfully, enter the received SET ID / Email ID & Password along with Captcha (as shown on the screen) to login.

*  In any case, if students do not remember their password, they need to click on “Forget Password” and retrieve it by entering their name, email, and DOB.

• After login, start filling-in the details of the application form including:
  • Personal Information
  • Academic Details
  • Contact Details
  • Select the preferred College and Course

• Now, complete the process by paying a separate course selection fee of Rs. 1000/- (for each program) as per the chosen institute.  

Step 3 - Print the Application

• After all the formalities are completed, take a printout of the filled application form for future requirements.

Following are the documents that students need to have in order to fill in the details of the SET Exam application form 2025:

• Class 10^th & 12^th Marksheet
• Caste Certificate (If applicable)
• Scanned Image of candidates passport size photograph
• Valid Photo Identity Card

Candidates need to upload the scanned image of their passport size photograph at the time of SET Exam Registration 2025 registration process. Students need to ensure that the photograph should not be more than 4 Months old and it must be uploaded in the prescribed format which is as follows:

• Size of the photo: Between 10 KB to 500 KB.
• Format: JPG / JPEG / PNG / GIF

Students applying for the Symbiosis SET Exam 2025 should go through the below-given special points that are related to registration process:

• Wards of Serving / Retired Defence Personnel are applicable only for admission in Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR). If such candidates want to apply for the other Institutes of SIU, they will be considered under the Open Category.
• Before starting the registration process, students are advised to visit the browser setting and ensure that they have turned off the auto fill option in order to avoid wrong details getting entered.
• Candidates should know that allocation of test city will be based on the date of payment for the exam. The earlier students pay the examination fee, the higher their chances of getting a test centre of their preference. The test cities are allotted on a “First Come First Serve” basis.
• The authorities entertain changes in the filled application form till the SET Exam registration last date 2025 except in the certain sections which are Test City Preferences and Admission Category.
• Students need to be careful while filling the SET application form. If the SIU found that the details provided in the form are not true to the information, it can lead the candidates towards the cancellation of their application.

Before proceeding with the registration and application of the exam, aspirants need to verify the SET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025. To be eligible for the entrance test, candidates must have qualified Class 12^th or its equivalent examination in respective discipline.
