The OJEE board has prescribed the reservation criteria for different categories. The Reservation is applicable only to natives of Odisha state and to avail the benefit, they must submit Resident/ Nativity certificate from competent authorities of Odisha State during document verification. It is applicable to candidates including SC / ST / GC /PC / Ex-Servicemen /SGS /TFWs / EWS / reservation under women quota.

*The candidates of Odisha State who want to avail Women Quota must have Nativity Certificate otherwise they will be considered under unreserved category.
Reservation for Physically Challenged Category
The PwD candidates are eligible for reservation under the Physically Challenged (PC) category with minimum 40% and more disability in accordance with section-39 of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
5% seats are reserved for PwD candidates for admission into MBA/ MCA/ B. Pharm/ Integrated MBA/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm/ M.Plan/ B.CAT courses.
*To avail the reservation, it is mandatory for all the PwD candidates to be present at the Medical Board on the specified date which will be informed before counselling.
Eligibility for Odisha State Category (S-Category) Candidates to Avail Reservation
To avail the reservation, the candidate needs to satisfy any one of the below given 3 criteria:
Reserved Seats For NRI students
NRI candidates include the Wards (Sons / Daughters) of Indian Citizens residing outside the country, holding an Indian Passport.
For NRI candidates, the reserved seats will be available as per the provisions of OPEI (RA & FF) Act 2007 and subject to the approval of AICTE.
If the NRI candidates become unavailable, their quota seats will get transferred to general category candidates according to their merit.
