NMAT Exam Pattern 2024: Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

Every year, an official notification is released by the GMAC (conducting body) for the NMAT pattern. Candidates should understand the NMAT exam pattern 2024 for strategic preparation of the test.

The NMAT exam takes place between the 45 days of the testing window. Applicants can select a location and a specific day between the 45-days period according to their convenience to attempt the exam.

NMAT exam pattern 2024 consists of 108 questions which are divided into 3 sections which are as follows:

• Quantitative Skills
• Logical Reasoning
• Language Skills

NMAT paper pattern 2024 includes 108 questions, 36 questions for each section and carries the same marking scheme for all sections. The below given table explains the section-wise question, duration, and scoring range of NMAT 2024:

The NMAT exam is conducted to evaluate student’s performance and skills as per the following marking scheme:

• + 3 marks for every right answer.
• No negative marking for wrong answered and unattempted questions.
• Once the candidate completed a section, he / she cannot make any changes as it is considered final.

Students will receive their NMAT Score within approximately 48 hours after the completion of the test. NMAT score cards will be sent to the students on their registered email. Students can share their result displayed on their score card with their concerned B-schools.
