NMAT 2024: General Eligibility Criteria
Irrespective of the specialisation in MBA program or admission in any institute, candidates who want to appear for NMAT 2024 exam must fall under the below given general eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognised Institute or University. It is mandatory for the candidates to score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the final year of their graduation / bachelors.
Students who are in their final year of graduation or awaiting results are also eligible to apply for NMAT 2024. However, their admission will be provisional until the mark sheet or certificate of graduation will not be submitted.
Number of Attempts
Candidates will get a maximum of three attempts in a year for NMAT, including ‘no-shows.’ The three attempts will comprise one fresh attempt and two retakes of the examination.
Professional Experience
Candidates with 2-3 years or prior work experience are given priority during the selection process at the time of admissions. However, applicants with no work-experience are also eligible to apply for NMAT 2024.
NMAT Age Eligibility
The NMAT by GMAC exam has no minimum or maximum age limit for participants, which means candidates of any age can apply for the exam.

- Similarly to Indian candidates, International students have no age limit to apply for the exam.
- Candidates who belong to Non-English speaking countries are required to be proficient in English language. They may be required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores to be eligible for the exam.
