NIMCET Registration 2025: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur – the exam conducting body will begin the NIMCET Registration 2025 expectedly in the 2^nd Week of March 2025. For registration, students need to navigate the “nimcet.admissions.nic.in” (the exam’s official website).

Interested and eligible students should register for the NIMCET 2025 exam to get admission in the MCA course offered by the participating NITs and IIIT Bhopal. Candidates should complete the registration process on the exam’s official website before the last date which is expectedly in the 3^rd Week of April 2025.

To start the registration & application process, students must have passed the NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by the NIT Jamshedpur. By following the below-given steps, candidates will be able to fill the NIMCET Application Form 2025:

Step 1: Registration

• Go to the “nimcet.admissions.nic.in” (the exam’s official website).
• Click on the “New Registration” URL displayed on the front-page of the website.
• To create a new user account, enter a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
• Now, an email will be sent to the e-mail ID, containing a link to the webpage for setting the password.

Note: If any candidate does not find the mail in the regular folder, “SPAM” folder needs to be checked.

* Students should note down the generated password and security question along with its answer for the further requirements. Moreover, students are not permitted to create multiple user logins.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

• After successful registration, start filling the following details in the NIMCET application form 2025:
  • Personal Details
  • Educational Information
  • Test Centres (Any 3 from the list issued by the NIT Jamshedpur on the exam’s official website).

* While filling the application form, students should not ignore the details marked as “Mandatory”.

Step 3: Upload the Documents and Preview the Form

• After the details are filled in the application form, upload the required self-attested and scanned documents.
• After completing all the above-mentioned steps, click on the “Preview the Application” tab to check the filled details in the form.
• If any changes are required, click on the “Revise the Application” icon.

Step 4: Payment

• Afterwards, pay the application fee on the payment gateway page.

Step 5: Submit

• Once the payment is successfully done, press the “Finally Submit” tab to complete the application process.
• Later on, a PDF of the filled application form will appear on the screen, download this as it will be containing the generated Application Number which will be required in future.

Note: Students should know that they will be able to download the PDF format of filled application form till the 2^nd Week of June 2025 only.

During the application process, students have to upload the scanned and self attested images of the below-mentioned documents  as per the following instructions:

The exam conducting body will open the edit / correction application form window tentatively in the 4^th Week of April 2025. Through the correction window, candidates will be able to modify the details in the filled application form after its submission. Once the edit window gets closed, the exam authorities will not entertain any sort of further request.
