Nationality
Foreign Nationals / NRI / OCI / PIO / SAARC candidates must satisfy the academic qualifications required according to the different courses. Moreover, these candidates need to consider the following academic eligibility required to appear for NIFT 2025:
* The scores must not have been declared before 1st January, 2023 and should be received by the NIFT by 30th April 2025.

As per the section 2 (r) of the RPwD act, 2016, “Persons with Benchmark Disabilities” (PwD) means those with not less than 40% of specified disability. The specified disabilities as per the act are as follows:

Following are some points which students need to consider regarding NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2025:
Students are required to fulfill the NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2025 before applying for the NIFT Entrance Exam. The registration for NIFT 2025 will begin for all the courses from 22nd November 2025. According to the NIFT Registration 2025 notification, students will have to register / apply for the exam before 6th January 2025.
The NIFT registration 2025 will be conducted by NTA online through the official website “exams.nta.ac.in”. Candidates will have to pay the applicable application fee online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
The exam conducting body i.e., NTA is responsible to set the eligibility criteria for NIFT entrance exam 2025.
On the basis of course-wise NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2025, the students must have qualified 12th Standard / equivalent exam in respective fields from any recognised institute or board for taking admission in a UG program.
No, according to the NIFT Eligibility Criteria, there is no prescribed age limit to appear in the entrance test for taking admission in any of the offered PG courses.
In accordance with the NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2025, there are 5% reservation seats available for PwD candidates. To claim the reservation benefits, the PwD candidates must have at least 40% of specified disability and have to submit the requisite documents.
