NEET PG Registration 2025: How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The NEET PG Registration 2025 is expected to begin in the 3^rd week of April 2025 and will remain open till the 2^nd week of May 2025. NEET PG is a single-window online Computer Based Test (CBT) that will be conducted tentatively in the 5^th week of June 2025. This National Level Exam will be held by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Students who are looking forward to taking admission in any of the PG Diploma / MS / MD / Post MBBS DNB / Direct 6-year DrNB / Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma courses must fill the NEET PG registration 2025 form. The registration needs to be done on the official website of the conducting body of NEET PG 2025 i.e., National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on “natboard.edu.in”.

The details about the NEET PG 2025 registration are summarised in the table given below:

Applicants will have to complete their NEET PG Registration 2025 by paying the Registration Fee using any of the following methods:

• Debit Card / Credit Card issued by a bank of India
• Net Banking
• Other modes of payment displayed on the payment page

The Registration Fee for NEET PG 2025 for various categories is as follows:

* The fee paid by the candidates is non-refundable, non-adjustable, and cannot be carried forward to a future date.

* Students must make sure that the NEET PG registration 2025 Fee Payment is successful which will be reflected on the Application Form. Without successful payment, applicants will not be able to submit the NEET PG 2025 Application Form.

Before proceeding for the NEET PG Registration 2025, aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025, prescribed by the conducting body. Students need to note that it is mandatory to fill all the “*” marked parts (in the form) without which the candidates will not be able to move to the next section & submit the Application Form.

Follow the detailed below-given steps to fill the NEET PG Registration 2025 Form correctly:

Step 1: Generate User ID & Password

• Navigate the official website of NBEMS i.e., “natboard.edu.in” & click on ‘Application Link’. Then, click on “Register”.
• Enter the details such as Candidate’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Nationality, Email, etc.
• Preview & verify the given details as it cannot be changed later.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• Afterwards, the User ID & Password will be sent on the provided email address & registered mobile number of the candidate.

* It is to be noted that the same email ID & mobile number cannot be used more than once for Registration.

Step 2: Fill in the Personal Details Section

• Click on “Already Registered? To Login?” OR “Login” tab on the ‘Application Link’ and login using the generated User ID & Password.
• Fill in the Personal Details Section that includes Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Category, Identification details, Communication Details, etc.
• Once completed, click on “Save and Next” to move to the next section.

Step 3: Add information in the Qualification Details Section

• Here, the applicants are required to enter their educational details along with Internship, Registration & additional information.
• After the candidates fill-in all the required details, they can click on the “Save & Proceed” to move to the next section.

Step 4: Upload Documents & Select the Test Centre

• In this section, the students are required to upload 2 photographs including 1 pre-saved / scanned passport size coloured photograph & 1 real-time captured photograph using a webcam.
• Upload the scanned signature, left thumb impression, and the Registration Certificate in the prescribed format.
• After this, select the preferred Exam Centre i.e., the State & the City from the given list.  
  * In case, the preferred State / UT’s testing seat is not available, the applicant has to select the “Others” option from the list of States / UTs. Information about the confirmed test city centre will be sent on the registered email.
• Check all the filled details by clicking on the “Preview” icon. Agree to the displayed declaration, and then click on the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Fee Payment

• The NEET PG registration 2025 Form will now be redirected automatically to the Payment Gateway page where candidates need to pay the requisite Registration Fee.
• After successful payment, a confirmation will be reflected on the Application Form under the Payment Status as “S” i.e., Successful.
  Note: In case a candidate’s payment is pending, it might be stuck at the student’s Bank’s end and will be cleared later. If he / she makes another payment to complete the Application Form submission process for the same Application ID, his / her excess fee will be refunded by NBEMS after the Registration Window will close. 
• Test City Centre will get confirmed only after successful payment. At last, download the PDF of the Application Form along with the Transaction ID.

* Once the fee payment is done & the Application Form has been submitted, the candidates will receive an Acknowledgement Email, confirming their submission.

Students are required to keep the below-mentioned documents handy before beginning the NEET PG Registration 2025 process:

• MBBS Marksheet
• FMGE Marks (for NRI candidates & those who have completed Primary Medical Qualification outside India)
• Internship Certificate
• Provisional / Permanent Registration Certificate (issued by the State Medical Council / National Medical Council)
• Candidate’s Recent Passport Size Photograph
• Candidate’s Signature
• Candidate’s Thumb Impression (Left Hand)
• Identification Proof (Voter ID / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / OCI Card / National ID Card)
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Candidates must follow the given-below instructions to upload the documents in the NEET PG registration 2025 Form as prescribed by NBEMS:

Photograph

Students are required to upload 2 photographs for which requisites are mentioned below:

• Real Time Photograph: Candidates have to confirm that the system used for filling the NEET 2025 PG Application Form has an in-built camera / webcam & the photograph should be clicked using the same. Click on the “Capture Photo” icon displayed on the Form’s webpage.
• Recent Photograph: The scanned / digital photograph should be clicked using a digital camera, having preferably more than 5 megapixel resolution, and must not be more than 3 months old. Avoid taking a selfie & using flash which may cause improper lighting. Moreover, students must have not worn any ornaments, glasses, etc. in the photograph.

Additional instructions to follow for uploading both the photographs are listed below:

• The width of the photograph should be 35mm (1 3/8^th inches) and height must be 45mm (1 ¾ inches). The height of the candidate’s head should measure 70-80% of the height of the photograph i.e., 32-36mm (1 2/8 – 1 ½ inches).
• Size of the Photograph should be less than 80 KB and must be uploaded in the JPG / JPEG format only.
• Candidates should be dressed in a formal outfit & sit / stand against a white background, having the light falling on their face and not on the webcam.
• Applicants must click the photograph from a front view with full face, ears, neck & shoulders visible with a neutral expression and eyes open towards the camera.
• Images should not be blurred while editing and no digital enhancement should be done.

Signature

Students can make the digital image of their signature by 2 methods:

• Use a Digital Device (Camera)
• Scan the Signature

Follow the below-given steps to click and scan the signature:

• Draw a box on a white sheet (without lines) with a height of 1.5cm and width of 3.5cm. Sign within the box using a dark blue / black ink pen.
• Candidate’s signature must not be mere initials but their complete signatures & must be done by them only.
• Click the photograph of the signature (within the box) with bright light conditions. The digital device should preferably have more than 5 megapixel resolution. Avoid using flash light & shadow falling on the sheet.
• Transfer the digital image to the computer / laptop. Use the image editing software’s auto-correct feature, if required.
• Crop the digital image up till the borders of the drawn box. Resize the signature’s image to 20 to 100 KB.

Thumb Impression

Guidelines to upload the thumb impression are as follows:

• Draw a box having a 3.5cm width & 1.5cm height on a black sheet & use a black / blue ink pad.
• Using the clean Left Thumb, gently press it against the ink pad and carefully horizontally print it within the drawn box.
• The impression of the thumb should not be smudged and its density & darkness should be clearly visible.
• Use a digital camera to take the photograph of the thumb impression (with prescribed format).
• Crop the box area of the thumb impression along its borders.

Note: Instead of transferring the digital image of signature & thumb impression, applicants can directly  scan it by setting the scanner to 200 DPI and save it in JPG / JPEG format. Its size should be less than 80 KB.

After successful NEET PG Registration 2025, students will be able to make changes in certain sections of the NEET PG Application Form & rectify their mistakes, if any. The conducting body of the entrance exam, NBEMS will open an Edit Window, a Pre-Final Edit Window, and a Final Edit Window.

Students are advised to go through the below-given points attentively to understand they can edit which information through the 3 Correction Windows:

Edit Window: 2^nd week of May 2025

Only those candidates who have successfully paid the NEET PG registration 2025 Fee will be able to make changes through the Edit Window. Students cannot register with a New Application or make any Fee Payment through this window.

Students can update / modify the following information / documents:

• Date of Birth 
• Gender
• Category (General / ST / SC / OBC)
• PwD status
• Other fields visible ‘as editable’

* If any candidate has made any mistake in his/ her Name, then he / she will have to create a new User Account with the correct name.

* After changing the Category / PwD status, students can pay the balance fee required through the Edit Window.

Through the Edit Window, applicants cannot update the following:

• Candidate’s Name
• Nationality
• Email ID
• Test City Centre
• Mobile Number

Pre-Final Edit Window: 5^th week of May 2025

The Pre-Final Edit Window will be open to give an opportunity to the applicants to rectify their uploaded Photographs, Signature, and Thumb Impression if the uploaded documents are not in alignment as per the prescribed official instructions.

Final Edit Window: 2^nd week of June 2025

NBEMS will release a list of applicants who have failed to rectify their uploaded images in the NEET PG 2025 application form. Post this, the Final Edit Window will be open on the official website of NBEMS for such candidates to make the required modifications as per the official rules.

* The application of those candidates who still have not uploaded the corrected documents in the Final Edit Window will be rejected.

There are certain points that are important for the students to be mindful of while filling the NEET PG registration 2025 form. The points are discussed below:

• If an applicant submits more than one NEET PG application form 2025, then the Admit Card of the higher order of Application ID submitted will be issued. The other Form will be cancelled & no fee will be refunded.
• Students who will not complete the NEET PG registration 2025 with the requisite documents & those who will not rectify the mistakes before the last date announced will be considered ineligible for taking the NEET PG Exam. Their fee will not be refunded in this case.
• While filling the Application Form of NEET PG 2025, candidates will be allotted the Exam Centre on a first-cum-first-serve basis. Only those cities will be displayed on the screen where testing seats are still available.
• Before submitting the NEET PG 2025 application form, candidates can edit the entered information multiple times except those entered during registration like Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.
